An 18th century Jackfield pottery jug, of baluster form with loop handle, sparrow beak type spout and painted foliate decoration 17.5cm sold along with three other similar jugs, a two handled loving cup and teapot, some damagesCondition report - Generally there appears to be some minor damage to most items in this lot. For example, the finial on the lid of the teapot has some losses and the rim is chipped too on the teapot. The two handled cup has a noticeable chip to the rim and there is also a chip to one of the smaller jugs. The glazing on these items is worn in places. Additional photos attached.

The foliate engraved brass sheet dial with Roman chapter ring and Arabic minute markings enclosing a signed centre and mock pendulum aperature beneath subsidiary dials for strike/silent, month calendar and days of the week fronting a substantial brass plated movement with finned baluster pillars, verge escapement and eight-day triple fusee repeating movement with fully engraved backplate and matching decoration to the pendulum cock, hour strike on a bell and 8cm pin barrel musical train with 10 hammers playing on a series of 8 graduated bells.60cm high 39cm across 28cm deepThe dial would have been silvered originally, if the post fixing bothers you it really needs sanding out and re-engraving which a good restorer could do, the case is in excellent original condition with all the original ormolu mounts, and there would have been two triangular ormolu frets to the top of the case flanking the top finial, the movement is original to case and is in good working condition chiming and Stiking on the hour and ticking away but may need a service. The clock has come from a deceased estate.

The 11" square brass dial with fine cherub head spandrels enclosing a Roman chapter ring with Arabic minute markings and matted centre dial with subsidiary seconds, date aperture and original finely cut steel hands fronting a month going movement with five finned baluster pillars, anchor escapement and outside countwheel strike on a bell - with original brass cased weights and pendulum.218cm high excluding finialThe clock is in very original unrestored condition. The side of the base panel is detached and split in two, the bun feet are missing, and there are chips and losses to the veneers and mouldings. Extra images of all damage have been uploaded. The movement is original to dial and is complete with all original wheel work, is working but will need a service, has original weights and pendulum. The seat board has been replaced but in our opinion, the movement is original to the case.

The silvered dial is original and tarnished. The movement is complete and very good quality. Having original verge escapement and complete movment. The clock ticks and functions correctly but would advice the clock is cleaned and serviced. there is a piece of timber missing from the back of the clock. See extra images uploaded.

The movement is Georgian and complete, is does run but will need cleaning. The case is in good condition having a nice original colour and patina, there is a very small piece missing above the foot, the barometer is original to the case and the tube is complete and undamaged. Comes with weights and pendulum.
