A Japanese Imari koro and cover, Meiji periodOf lobed globular form with twin scroll handles, the domed cover with shishi finial, decorated with typical panels of stylised flowers and foliage, raised on three scroll feet, 19cm high (one handle repaired).Condition report: Cover has fine faint hairlines and rubbing to the gilt onthe finial. One handle has been visibly restuck. One foot has been restuck. Tiny hairline to the rim. Minor rubbing to the gilt in places.

A French ormolu and enamel panel mounted mantel clock,The 3” circular dial painted with three birds to the centre and signed Le Roy et Fils, 211 Regent Street London, with Roman numerals in gilt and bleu celeste borders, eight-day movement striking on a bell, the movement inscribed Le Roy et Fils a Paris and numbered 780, the case surmounted by a campana urn with detachable cover and pineapple finial and goat's head handles and raised on a stepped shaped plinth and foliate wrapped toupie feet. 30cm high, 19cm wide, 10cm deep, on separate giltwood plinth (2)Condition report: Movement and strike train both wind. Strikes on the hour and half hour. Not tested for time keeping. Case fair retaining good gilding throughout. Enamel elements good with no obvious damage.

A George III mahogany longcase clock by Thomas Thompson Liverpool, with eight day striking movement with moon phase, dial width 13 1/4", the case with long trunk door flanked by fluted quarter column corners with well figured panel base raised on ogee moulded bracket feet. Height 235 cm, hood width 56.5 cm(see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains and is currently ticking away and striking as it should. It seems to be keeping good time. The moon phase appears to be working as does the date. The case is in generally good condition. There are some cracks to the verre eglomise in the swans neck. The hood door is not warped. There are some nibbles to the edge of the hood door and to the side panel at the front but again this is not problematic. The rear of the hood side panel has a loose slither of timber but we have piece. The main trunk door is not significantly warped and locks as it should. There are some veneer stress fractures as one would expect but no real issues with the door. The sides of the trunk are in good order. The base is in generally good condition also. The base panel is slightly sprung at the bottom left hand corner. We can see no evidence of any woodworm. The height excluding the central finial is 230 cm.
A George III mahogany longcase clock, with swans neck pediment above the arched brass dial and two train striking movement with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the case with long trunk door, quarter column corners and conforming base raised on bracket feet. Height 236 cm including finial. CONDITION REPORT: Whilst we have the pendulum and weights we have not attempted to have the movement running. The metal suspension at the top of the pendulum is missing. The movement is dirty but appears to be complete. The brass dial is a little warped from top to bottom and the spandrels are all a little loose but all present. The silvering is very tired and mostly missing. The hood is principally complete but some of the moulding between the swans necks is loose. There are some stress fractures to the veneers also. The hood door is not warped and closes as it should. The hood glass is cracked. There are some pieces of dentil work missing beneath the hood. The same comments apply to the blind fretwork around the frieze. The door is not warped. There is a small loss to the top left hand corner. The door is currently locked, we do not have the key. The sides of the case are in good condition. The plinth is also in generally good order. The plinth side panels have shrinkage gaps between the panels. The feet are all in good condition. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
A Chinese archaic vase and cover on a wooden stand. Six character mark to base. Height excluding stand 31 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The finial to the lid has been detached, repaired and restored. The top of the rectangular rim of the vase has also had professional restoration. The handles are in good order as is the rest of the body. The restoration is professional but evident on close inspection.
A Meissen hausmaler teapot and cover c.1725, painted probably in a Bayreuth atelier with figures loading and unloading boats in a harbour setting, the reverse with Classical buildings flanking a river and central tree, reserved within yellow, puce and green scroll borders, a small landscape vignette beneath the straight spout, the cover with a formal scrollwork design, restoration to the cover's finial, 17.8cm across. A Worcester blue and white butter tub and cover c.1765, the circular form painted with the Candle Fence pattern, the low ornamental fence beneath a gnarled tree and large flowering peony, the cover surmounted with a large floral finial, open crescent mark, 12cm across. A Derby blue and white sauce tureen and cover c.1765, the quatrefoil form painted with birds in flight around Chinese buildings, the cover surmounted with a peach finial and applied leaves, and a Derby toilet pot and cover, painted with rural landscapes of small villages and isolated buildings, the handles formed as mythical horned masks, some restoration, 14.7cm max. (4)
Two salt-glazed stoneware teapots and covers c.1760, of square section, each side moulded with a large central shell motif reserved on a moulded Greek key ground, the spouts formed as the head and necks of mythical beasts, the larger teapot surmounted with a liondog finial, some damages and repairs, 18.5cm max. (4)
Five salt-glazed stoneware dishes c.1750-70, the two larger moulded with varying diaper panels with pierced sections to the shaped rims, one plate moulded with a formal leaf and acorn design, another basketweave with a reticulated rim, the last a two-handled shallow basket with grapevine, and a small tureen or butter tub lid with a cow finial, some faults and repairs, 31.3cm max. (6)
A Meissen tureen cover c.1740, painted in an extended Kakiemon palette with the Korean Lion pattern, a mythical lion dog beneath a phoenix in flight, flanked by flowering branches, with a later gilt metal finial, and a large Meissen dish, with similar decoration in the Schmetterling pattern with a large central butterfly, damaged and repaired, 30.3cm max. A WUCAI ENAMELED PORCELAIN JAR AND COVER, MING DYNASTYChina, Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The ovoid body rising from a tapered foot to a broad rounded shoulder with a short waisted neck, the domed cover with a lotus finial, decorated in underglaze blue and bright enamels with an immortal holding a ruyi scepter and riding a qilin, surrounded by several young attendants, a band of stiff leaves above the foot and a band of flowers and scrolling leafy vines repeated on the cover.
