A pair of Royal Crown Derby lidded vases, in the Worcester style, painted with roses and heightened with gilding. Height 7 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The finial to one vase has been broken and re glued at the narrow point. Other than this and minor rubbing to the gilding the vases are in very good condition with no further damage or restoration.
A Coalport landscape vase, handpainted with two arched bridge, height 7 ins, together with an inkwell, length 5 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The finial to the lid of the vase has been broken and reglued and there is a small loss, the top of the finial is rough to touch. The rest of the lid is fine. The vase itself has a small hairline crack running around the top lip for approximately 1/2 inch. This is visible on both the interior and exterior of the vase. It is however faint. The gilding is in generally very good order and there is no evidence of restoration. The inkwell has rubbing to the gilding. Both inkwells are in good order as are the lids. The inkwell is probably circa 1900 and the vase perhaps 1930's.
A William IV silver tea service, comprising teapot, sugar basin and milk jug, the teapot London 1836, the sugar basin and jug London 1835 same maker Pierce & Burroughs, 1421 grams (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The teapot is in generally good condition. The finial is tight, the hinge in good order as is the spout. There are a number of small dints around the body of the piece but none of which are too significant. The sugar basin is in generally good order. The milk jug has again several dints around the proud part of the main body of the piece. Like the teapot these are visible but not too problematic.
A late 19th century Egyptian Revival alabaster clock, with two-train striking movement. Width 16 ins (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This clock is ticking away and striking. We have the key and pendulum. The urn finial may at some point have had a lid. The marble plinth below the finial has a loss to the rear right hand corner. The metalwork is generally clean and crisp and the feet are all intact and original. The dial is undamaged although slightly dirty. There is a small hairline crack to the case below the number 6.
A George III oak longcase clock, with swans neck pediment above the arched glazed door enclosing the brass dial with Roman numerals, strike and silent to arch, subsidiary date and seconds dials and inscribed "Francis Mee Higham Ferrers", flanked by fluted columns, with shaped trunk door and conforming base. Height excluding brass finial 88 ins.
An Edwardian mahogany longcase clock, with steeple and ball finial between the swans neck and above the arched glazed door enclosing the 10.5 inch arched silvered brass dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, with strike and silent to the arch, with long trunk door flanked by fluted quarter column corners and raised on ogee bracket feet. Height to top of swans neck 78 ins (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This clock is in generally extremely good order. It is ticking away and appears to keep good time. We cannot see any problems with the case other than very minor scuffs around the feet. The movement is in good condition. The door is not warped we have the original weights and heavy pendulum.
