A MID 19TH CENTURY ORMOLU AND PORCELAIN MANTEL CLOCK, the case surmounted by an urn shaped finial and ribbon, the circular dial painted with bird and flowers and Roman numerals, eight day movement, bell strike, the backplate stamped 'HY MARC PARIS' in an oval, and 54992, another indistinct mark behind the bell, lion mask ring handles to the sides above foliate scrolls, hand painted porcelain inset to the front, height 31.5cm, with pendulum, no key and a pair of gilt metal and porcelain garnitures (3) (Condition:- the garnitures: one has a break on the metal pedestal, the other has a split across the metal finial. Clock feet are loose, ribbon above dial is slightly mishapen. Clock is ticking. All porcelain appears to be in good order.

A George III Silver Mounted Ostrich Egg Cup and Matched Cover, cup by Joseph Biggs, London 1816, cover London 1844, the cover with baluster and plain collar, the cup with gadrooned collar, foliate cast loop handles and circular foot, 21cm high. Part marked on rim and under foot. The cover further marked on rim. The finial is apparently unmarked. The cover has differing silver marks to the body and is slightly ill-fitting. It is likely associated to the cup and not the original cover. The finial is slightly loose on the cover. There are some overall surface scratches and wear to the silver mounts, consistent with age and use. There are cracks to both sides of the body of the shell. One side has two prominent cracks which run from the rim nearly all the way to the foot. The other side has one crack which runs from the rim diagonally towards the foot.
