Small Third Reich Patriotic Flag, being an early NSDAP party rally flag produced for a spectator. Canvas type flag in the colours of the Imperial German flag (black, white and red) with central black swastika. Mounted onto its original pole with gold painted top finial. Generally in good condition.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK, THIRTY HOUR, LONG CASE CLOCK, marked: W. Williams, Merthyr, having broken swan neck pediment with eagle and ball brass finial, arched aperture flanked by reeded pillars, the waist with moulded rectangular door, having ebony inlaid outline and shell inlaid motif, flanked by canted angles, on an ebony outlined panel base and bracket feet. Arch painted face with floral decoration and Roman numerals above date aperture. Thirty hour movement striking on one bell. The face: 16.5 x 12 inches approx. 84 inches high approx. CONDITION REPORT: A little dry and lacking in patination, face has had some re-touching, crack through pediment, vertical crack through door, horizontal crack through panel base.

A late 16th century provincial silver maidenhead spoon, HBmaker's mark only struck in bowl, NH conjoined?, possibly for Nicholas Hodge of Bodmin,with a small v-shaped rat-tail to the back of the bowl,15.8cm longThe maidenhead finial is found on spoons made in London and the provinces. David J E Constable notes in ‘The Benson Collection of Early Silver Spoons’, 2012, p.44. No. 13, that ‘Many surviving wills and inventories contain reference to spoons of the maidenhead', so this is original terminology.
