A beautiful cast brass piece depicting a Crucifix above the skull on a hill representing Golgotha (site near Jerusalem where Jesus was crucified) and witnesses including the Virgin and Saint John the Evangelist. The finial above depicts a central panel of God the Father with doves and grieving angels surrounded by scenes of the life of Christ. Surmounting the composition are four seraphim heads. Size: 5.625" W x 11.125" H (14.3 cm x 28.3 cm)On the verso, is a lengthy text detailing the acts of Christ who was crucified for the sake of humankind as well as a hook for suspension. Bolivia, 20th century CE. An enormous, gorgeous resplendor with a large corona, a crown created to be mounted on the head of a saint figure (santo) in a church or shrine. The sparkling, shining silver is meant to reflect the holy emanations of the saint. 678 Grams of .925 silver. Size: 8.7" L x 15.3" W x 13.25" H (22.1 cm x 38.9 cm x 33.7 cm)This piece was hand-made by the Andean silversmiths in Bolivia from high content .925 silver, created via the same techniques used since the Colonial era, meticulously hand hammered, expertly molded in repousse, adorned with an orb-shaped finial decorated with a Latin cross atop and twin chased curvilinear motifs to each side. Most striking is the radiating halo punctuated by eleven six-pointed stars. Descendants of the Inca culture, the Aymara speaking artists have devoted themselves to preserving this thousand year old tradition. (81.9cm.) damascus steel brl.* Condition: Browned Damascus Round barrel with three 2 ¼" flats to rear, Top visible areas of barrel with some heavy rust staining also to tang area, hammer and top of steel butt plate, bright steel Lock plate with aged patina and minor blemishes, engraving crisp, steel trigger guard with pineapple finial but now blacked, stock with no apparent splits but minor bruising to both sides of trigger guard, brass tipped ramrod complete, top barrel flat engraved with "Egg London" virtually hidden by aforesaid rusting, horn fore end with minor blemishes to bottom of LHS. A military flintlock musket engraved Limbery, Birmingham proof marks, 20 bore, full stock with ring twist and turn bayonet, steel lock, brass furniture and shaped butt plate, steel ramrod, upper left of barrel engraved 'Carmarthen. M.', 53in. (134.6cm.) long.* Condition: Bright steel barrel now with rust staining to top side and minor pitting, the Carmarthen 'M' more likely to be 'IVI', cleaned wooden stock with small number of worm holes (6) and split at front RHS at ram rod tube entry, brass trigger guard over cleaned with loss of definition to acorn finial, 'E' over '4' to top of brass heel butt plate, lock working well with half cock and full cock however one lock retaining screw loose with threads flattened and worn, crossed sceptre proof marks with 'SI' engraved between both marks, lock marked with crown over the Y of Limbery with possible '2' understamp, lock with minor light pitting, bayonet with minor light pitting to some areas with age staining overall.

(24.7cm.).* Condition: 5" Damascus browned octagonal barrel rust stained overall with age marks and minor light pitting, top flat engraved "Bath", engraved blued trigger guard with rust stains to inside and to a lesser extent to the exterior, engraving to trigger guard pineapple finial is crisp and clear, Stock with no splits but minor dents overall, small point checkering sharp, half cock safety working and action crisp.
