Ca. 1100-1200 AD. A bronze oil lamp with its form both functional and aesthetically pleasing, featuring a flaring, concave foot that provides stability and balance to the overall composition. The round body of the lamp is adorned with a hinged lid with pointed finial and small lateral handles with serrated edges. The rear handle of the lamp, with its rosette finial, is an elegant touch that allows for easy transport of the lamp from one place to another. The arched spout with its ivy-leaf-shaped nozzle is yet another testament to the skill and craftsmanship of the maker, as it is both functional and visually pleasing.
