A 17th Century Indian sandalwood and ivory finial of fluted spherical form raised on an ebony hexagonal base decorated with stylised floral roundels, 23.5 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS Overall with quite a lot of dirt and dust. A split to the ivory embellishment around the sphere. Some splits and chips to finial and there is a small hole to the top of the finial where another fitment may once have been. Split to fluted sandal wood to base.
A late Victorian silver four piece tea and coffee set of bellied form with shaped rims and bodies decorated with C scroll and floral work, with vacant shaped cartouches, raised on four hoof feet, comprises teapot, coffee pot, twin-handled sucrier and milk jug (by Walter and John Barnard, London, 1894 and 1895), 52 oz including handles. CONDITION REPORTS Some general wear throughout conducive with age, some light surface scratching, dirty, sugar bowl has a couple of slightly deeper scratches to the underside of the base, teapot handle shows some signs of wear conducive with age and there is a small crack to the base of handle - possibly just from general heat - and the same with the water jug, finial on water jug has a scratch to the wood, teapot has slight dent inwards to one side on the plain side of the pattern (see images).
A Georg Jensen three piece coffee service, pattern No. 80A, bears marks for 1933-34, each with ebony handles and simple bead decoration, comprises a coffee pot, covered sugar basin and cream jug, stamped "925 Sterling Denmark", 19.7 oz including handles, coffee pot 17 cm high including finial.
An 18th Century gilt metal chatelaine with all over repoussé work decoration of classical figures and scrolling acanthus, the clip supporting three various boxes, one as a necessaire containing a spoon, penknife, scissors, ivory tablet with pencil inscriptions, the other two as bonbonnieres/patch boxes, housed in a leather case a card inscribed "The words written on ivory tablet in this chatelaine are by Jane Falk whose parents opposed her marriage. She is supposed to have written and passed the tablet to her lover (afterwards her husband Captain John George Wordeman) with whom she ran away and married in Falmouth Parish Church 1763 March 11th). She died in 1775 at Riga, Russia. CONDITION REPORTS Has general wear and scratching all over conducive with age and use. One patch box has Roman tally marks scratched into it, necessaire bottom finial has a pin hole and two dents, case interior in a somewhat distressed state and exterior has wear, scratches, etc. conducive with age and use (see photos) please note that this is not gold, catalogue description now reads gilt metal. 17cm long. Gross weight approx 128g.
An early 19th century oak cased longcase clock, the 30 hour movement with square brass dial, the brass chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals inscribed "Ashton, Tideswell" (Thomas) and enclosing a subsidiary date aperture, 191 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS Case : Finial has areas of flaking, finials to columns on hood face have some knocks and damage especially the top left-hand one, glass to hood has been re-set and the putty is shrinking/disintegrating, moulded edge to central door on the body is chipped with some losses, split to the lower left-hand section approx. 30 cm long, lower section of moulding to body has splits to the left-hand side, lower section has a split running all the way across the middle, front lower section has several splits, and a further split on the right-hand side, all over the case is in a somewhat rough condition conducive with age, use and materials. Movement - having been inspected by our clock specialist who believes movement to be period and likely to be orginial to the case, but cannot be guaranteed.The seat board is probably a replacement ( see images) it is therfore not packed up or altered . All parts appear present but may have some replacements, cannot guarantee in working order - would recommend viewing in person. Circular area of dial 25.5cm diameter, dial total 28cm square.

Pair of late 19th Century pottery baluster two handled vases and covers, depicting figures on blue ground together with similar smaller pair of baluster vases and covers, with panels depicting figures on white metal bases (4) CONDITION REPORT; Smaller gilt metal mounted vases appear ok. The other pair - crack + chip to side (bottom) of finial, wear to gilding + crazing. Other vase - crazing, loss to gilding + large chip (piece missing) at top of vase.
