A mid 19th century English three piece garniture in the Oriental manner, the larger twin handled octagonal baluster shaped jar and cover with internal lid decorated with exotic birds amongst floral sprays, with twin slightly smaller garniture urns, height 28cm and 23cm. CONDITION REPORT: The large jar: rubbing to the gilding, some crazing throughout, internal lid has been broken and repaired, heavy rubbing to the gilded handles, one of which has been broken and crudely glue repaired, some staining to the body. First smaller urn: no inner liner, has chips (one repaired) to the lid, the finial has been broken off, some minor cracks to the lid, crazing to the base, some staining, general wear. Second smaller urn: the head of the finial has been broken and glued, chips to the rim, one of which is 3 x 1cm, a section of the inner lid is missing, crazing, fine cracks, and a 1 x 0.5cm chip to the rim, rubbing to the gilding, general surface wear.
A Victorian white metal ciborium and cover with a cylindrical band around the bowl with gilt wash interior, with pierced foliate motifs to the lower border, engraved "SANCTUS, SANCTUS, SANCTUS", centred with a base metal and enamel roundel with holy initials, on hexagonal stem with large embossed knop to spreading lobed base, the domed cover with pelican nest finial, probably Hardman & Co., Birmingham c. 1850, height 28cm. CONDITION REPORT: Minor damage to the rim of the bowl.

Gilt chinchain with black leather backing. Victorian pre 1901 helmet plate with AVD monogram in silvered metal on black enamel in the centre. Good roan leather headband and crimson silk lining, the interior with maker’s stamp. Minor moth to band, gilt elements slightly dull, Evidence of another helmet plate fitted at some time. otherwise GC.

The hilt with gilt metal cross guard with swept down quillons and the white bone grip with line decoration is surmounted by a gilt metal cap, with ball finial. Scabbard absent, black now with black patina. Overall age wear.
Battle of Waterloo Period British 1796 Blue & Gilt Bladed Infantry Officer’s Sword. A good example with 32 inch straight single edged blade with half length blue and gilt decoration, this depicting a crowned GR cypher and Royal Coat of Arms. The gilt brass hilt with a single bar guard and urn shape pommel. The grip with silvered wire binding. Fitted with double shell guard, one folding. The cross guard terminates with a flower bud finial. Scabbard absent. 50% blue & gilt decoration remains.

Condition - general wear to case to include minor marks and scratches, slight split in veneer to top and also a small chip, appears to be working correctly but not sold with any guarantee, one butterfly bell finial missing and one flower bell finial loose, no missing teeth, the movement appears a little dirty.
