A Chinese Yixing stoneware teapot and cover, late Qing / Republic period, of compressed globular form, the cover with water buffalo finial, the body incised to one side with Chinese text, the other side with mountainous landscape, impressed six character mark to base and further impressed mark to underside of lid, 21.5 by 11.5cm.
A rare Victorian gilded brass ceremonial tip staff finial, each side formed as the Royal coat of arms above the arms of the City of London, bearing 'Guildhall 1866' within a circlet, all above an applied shaped cartouche inscribed 'Presentation of the Freedom to H.R.H. Prince Alfred, 7 June 1866', the collar engraved 'G R Bengough', 5.5 by 14.5cm.

An Elizabeth II silver sauce boat with spoon and stand, the handle of the heavily gilded boat finely cast as a crane perched upon a leafy branch with a snake in its beak, the lobed body with shaped reeded rim and cast stylised shell beneath the spout, stepped shaped foot, with complimentarily shaped stand, London 1975, C J Vander Ltd, sauce 21 by 10 by 15cm, stand 22.5 by 15.5 by 1cm, the associated spoon cast with clam shell bowl, trailing vines to handle and further shell to finial London 1973, C J Vander Ltd, 20cm, 34toz total weight. Early 19th century Royal Crown Derby plate, hand painted with floral sprays, Dresden urn shaped vase and cover with goat masks, two Royal Doulton figurines 'Marie' & 'Rose' both marked 'Potted by Doulton & Co' and three figurines with netted detail (7) Condition Report Marie figure - some light scratches to body. All three netted figures of loss of netting and some glued in areas. Dresden urn vase - traces of tape on lid, minor wear to gilding on finial. Derby plate has scratches to paint work, crazing and wear to base rim. All other pieces in good condition.
Two Indian swords (tulwar): the first with shallow fullered blade 28.5 in, with small punched marks, iron hilt with silver koftgari decoration combining geometric and naturalistic elements; the second with flat blade 32 in., narrow fullers and punched decoration, iron hilt retaining much silver koftgari, large disc pommel with domed finial to a radiate base, knucklebow terminating in a monstrous head. An 18th Century continental 26 bore pistol, converted to percussion, two-stage barrel 9 in., lock engraved with a stand of arms, full stock with carved moulding around the trigger guard finial and tail pipe and with the remains of a horn cap, finely engraved brass furniture comprising: scrolling openwork side plate incorporating the bust of a man to a small oval, grip cap with long spurs and depictions of a hound and a stag, scrolling openwork escutcheon faceted ramrod and tail pipe - the latter with acanthus finial; later trigger guard.
Battle of Jutland: the shell fragment that killed Lieutenant Commander Arthur Gerald Onslow C.S.C., Royal Navy, during the night action at Jutland, 31st May/1st June 1916, while he was in command of the destroyer H.M.S. Onslaught. A four inch piece of jagged steel, weighing 18 oz, set on an oak display mounting incorporating a frame displaying a letter from Captain R.G. Arnot, who served as a midshipman under Onlow at Jutland and tended him as he lay dying, presentation plaque to the base engraved 'PRESENTED BY CAPTAIN R.G. ARNOT R.N. (RETD) / LARGS 23-7-48'; together with a round brass box, the finial formed by a part of a naval shell fuse and the base set with a white metal Battle of Jutland commemorative medal (E 951a); and a piece copper with apparent shrapnel damage stamped 'H.M.S. COSSACK' [3] A.G. Onslow commanded the Onslaught at the Battle of Jutland, with a claim to having torpedoed S.M.S. Pommern (the only battleship on either side to be sunk during the battle) and participated in the fierce action of the following night; he had earlier been, as a Midshipman, one of only eight recipients of the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross - the forerunner to the Distinguished Service Cross and one of the rarest of all decorations. He won this in 1904 fighting on land on the Somali Pirate Coast (he stormed a nest of snipers in a dramatic close-quarters action). Provenance: Arnot present at Jutland, recovers fragment from Onslow, later presents it to C.O. of the successor vessel to the name Onslaught, later lodged in R.N. store in Portsmouth and then disposed of at auction to the current owner.
A Russian artillery gunpowder flask, round wooden body with keel-like projections serving as feet, brass bound and mounted with a number of cast brass badges of the Russian double headed eagle radiating on each side from a central round plaque depicting St George slaying the dragon, the spout closed by a brass cap with a flame finial.

French Sarreguemines Architectural Stoneware Hanging Planter A late nineteenth century planter with applied dog's head, fern and ivy leaf detail to bowl. Rosette finial to bottom centre. Bearing impressed factory marks with eagle seal and No.56 to inner bowl. A French silver mustard pot with artichoke finial, lion head decoration to four paw feet, approx 5.5ozt, height 6cm. CONDITION REPORT No liner, finial appears slightly skewed when viewed from the side, slight tarnish, surface wear and scratching commensurate with age, base is dented heavily near the marks, pin does not sit flush in the hinges.
