Condition Report: Overall very good, finial to teapot loose, no signs of repair to any pieces, no significant denting or damage to bodies, some scratches, wear and tear to handles, bodies and ball feet consistant with use.

A Worcester quatrelobed dessert tureen, cover and stand, shell handles, painted with colourful flowers and foliage in gilt cartouches with C and S-scrolls in gilt on a wet blue ground, the domed cover with bold artichoke finial, the stand with dentil rim, 23cm wide, c.1768 Vendor's Note: This design of gilding on wet blue is very similar to the `Duchess of Kent' service, Queen Victoria's mother, with the exception of flowers not birds on the service.This decoration is reminiscent of the Marchioness of Ely pattern except that birds are replaced with flowers. Condition Report: The stand good with chips to foot but standing well. Restoration to tureen and then one rebuilt handle, the other with nibbles. Cover with restored finial branch, firing stress to footrim and one chip. Overall light wear to decoration and gilding.
