The pan and frizzen are replacements and confirm our suspicion the gun has been converted back from percussion. The stock is free from splits or cracks, there are some small dents and scratches. When sighting down the top rib, there is a noticeable curve to the left of both tubes plus ribs and the right barrel has probably blown out at some point warping the whole frame of the barrels to one side. The platinum and lead breech plugs are different in appearance on each side, the right one looking somewhat distorted. The bores are generally clean with some light pitting marks. The metalwork generally has some light pitting patches throughout. The actions work with strong springs, the insides of the hammers have some dents from being dropped on the nipples without caps.
