The hands are lifted like holding a flute to his mouth. The face is smiling widely and has a prominent nose. The body is dressed only in a belt and wearing wooden toe sandals. The hair is done up in a two-stepped bun with finial.

The lid is made of three tiers, the lower two with incised and relief decoration of flowers and ornamental patterns. The top tier is shaped like a reverse flower with a red bud finial.The bud finial bents slightly to one side. The red bead stained. Minor scratches and abrasions consistent with age. Overall good condition.
