Chinese late 19th century Canton famille rose bottle vase and domed cover, the body decorated with flowers, birds and insects between ruyi and palmate bands, 38cm. Condition Report 360 Large chip and numerous others and smaller to the rim of the cover and a further two large chips to the finial. Firing flaw at the base of the finial. Firing crack to the underside of the rim. The vase has a long, hairline crack approximately 20cm long around the base above the foot rim. Large chip to the rim. Some light surface scratches and scuffs. Some losses to the painted decoration especially that which is pink.

Case with wear and scuffs, various alterations, repairs and losses including key escutcheon missing, keyhole position moved, no locking mechanism, various holes drilled, nails and screw repairs, small wood section screwed to front to hold door closed, various chips and losses to edges, mouldings repaired using various screw holes and bolts, various splits to sides and mouldings, various replacement sections to carcass, various splits to carcass, and some areas of moulding and corners etc. missing - please see photos for examples. Hood with fabric nailed to top, fabric is torn and damaged, various chips to mouldings, various splits and chips to edges. Finial area appears to have a section missing and finial has been moved to one side and re-attached. Pendulum with some mis-shaping, weights with some rusting and losses. Various holes drilled to carcass (please see photos for examples). Moulding/bottom of plinth appears to be missing. Case and clock generally in need of some attention.
A 17th Century Norwegian silver spoon with ball finial by Lucas Andersteen, Bergen, with spiral twist stem, 12.8 cm long, 0.8 oz CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear and scuffs, bowl is irregular in shape, some rubbing to marks, various scratches to back where handle meets bowl of spoon, also various scratched letters in the back of the bowl, ball finial has some mis-shaping and appears to be made in two parts and the join to the two halves is visible/separating slightly, the bowl of the spoon is quite uneven and worn and may have been re-shaped due to denting and is quite pitted around edges with possibly some old repairs around edges.
A late 19th Century Japanese sterling silver hollow ware three piece tea set comprising teapot, sugar basin and milk jug with embossed floral decoration in the Art Nouveau taste, stamped to base "Kuhn Korma Sterling", 29.7 oz CONDITION REPORTS All with wear, scuffs and dents. Teapot has no inner lining, and has some dents. Teapot lid finial broken off and with various dents, solder and tarnish, lid with some dents. Jug is crudely repaired all around the rim, and very dented. Sugar basin lid is very dented and basin is dented and base is squashed.
A Victorian silver ink / quill stand centrepiece of domed form with pierced and embossed decoration, depicting various Roman figures, the lid with a figural finial inscribed "RR" and "HR" (by Joseph Angell Senior and Joseph Angell Junior, London, 1849), 13.5 cm high, 11 oz including glass inkwell CONDITION REPORTS Hinge broken and lid therefore detached, overall some squashing and mis-shaping, several splits to the pierced decoration.
A plated soup tureen with cover, the domed top set with recumbent fawn finial and the body with a pair of stag head handles, raised on four hoof feet, together with a matching ladle of slot handle in the manner of Collis & Co. Birmingham, 27 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Some general wear and scuffs, and a few small knocks and scratches, but overall externally appears in good condition. Interior has quite a lot of scratches,and some tarnish.
A Victorian silver engraved teapot of squash form, raised on four shell scrolled feet (by William Hunter, London, 1850), 24.8 oz CONDITION REPORTS General wear and scuffs. Some deterioration to the insulating bands. Some small knocks and dents. Finial slightly loose/wobbly. There is something rattling inside the teapot (possibly within the handle or the spout - but not visible). Generally appearance seems to be reasonably good.
An early Victorian mahogany linen press, the arched pediment with beaded decoration over similarly decorated figured panelled doors enclosing a later hanging rail, over two short and two long drawers on turned feet, 124 cm wide x 216 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The piece is in two sections. Some deep impressed marks all over but espescially to the sides. The majority of these marks are dark in colour. Some small scratches and general wear and tear through out. There are some dark impressed marks to the front espescially to the right hand door. There is a missing section to the top ont he left hand side. To the right 'finial' has some evidence of cracking and one small round hole. To the right hand side there is some veneer at the bottom becoming loose and some holes near the back. To the left hand side there is a deep score mark and small section of missing veneer. There is a small section of missing veneer o the bottom right corner. To the back top right hand corner there is evidence of repairs. There are some scratches around the key holes. The interior of the linen press section is missing and converted to a hanging area. General wear and tear through out.
