The cover with a large rim chip, no restoration
A Caughley globular teapot and cover, printed in underglaze blue with the Three Flowers and Butterfly pattern, the slightly domed cover with flower knop, 13cm h, printed C in underglaze blue, c1780-85 The flower finial and the flange of the cover both with restoration. Minute flat pinhead sized nick rather than a chip to the underside of the tip of the spout. No professional restoration
