Clayton-Stamm is a little confused with the purpose of these two vases, now in the Cecil Higgins Art Gallery, stating their design for both the Tsar of Russia's summer palace and also his liner. This vase is a variant on the design illustrated in Clayton-Stamm with differing handles and also a raised, moulded band of decoration to the body.

The cup having a crucifix finial surmounting a raised lid engraved with leaves and berries, above a large baluster knopped column chased with grapevine and wheat-sheaves. The round pedestal base engraved with scrolling foliage between three panels of bullrush, wheatsheaf, and rayed crucifixes. 11 ins (28 cms) in height.
