Anglo-Saxon Conical Bronze Bullion WeightBronze weight, Circa 9th-10th century?. A solid bronze conical bullion or trade weight with a round finial that possibly once had a suspension loop attached.The dating and referencing to this piece is difficult but the shape and style are very similar to small bronze bells of the same period.Size: 25.63 mm, Weight: 29.45 grams.
Romano-British enamelled button or fittingA beautifully well preserved piece with most of the enamel intact, Circa 1st-2nd century AD. Circular in form with a central raised finial within a circular panel of white enamel, around the centre panel is a border of white and blue triangular cells forming a floral type pattern. The reverse has a single large fixing loop. Size: 27 x 13 mm.
A collection of artefacts. Circa 2nd century - 18th century AD. A good collection of mixed artefacts from various periods. One piece to note is the Roman bronze anthropomorphic handle detailed with a face terminal at the base and a full head finial that would have sat above the rim of the vessel. A very interesting lot.
A 19th century Islamic ewer, tinned copper, Kashmir, approx 35 cms. Condition for this Lot - Sale 06/05/2020Lot 155 - peering inside no piercing through the body. The hinge is missing the original pin. The finial may not be original. All else is in good overall condition, no dents or damage apparent.
