Two Embroidered Chinese Hats for Children, worked in panels both vertically and horizontally, with a band all around in different colours, ear flaps, and a very detailed panel supporting the knotted finial. Both are further decorated with gold and silver metal braid, one has the addition of silver bobbles to the lower edge. One lined in black, the other unlined. Together with A Pair of Silk Lotus Shoes for bound feet, as worn by the women and girls of the Han Community, Qing Dynasty. With a salmon-pink silk upper, embroidered to sides and front, decorated with coloured cords and finished with woven lime green silk (4). The hats are in good order but some of the silver bobbles are missing on the second example. Wear to the salmon silk of the Lotus shoes, otherwise they are in good strong condition.
A Chinese Hand Screen or Fixed Fan (Pien Mein) of blue satin, woven with a design of scrolls and a brush pot containing a closed fan and brushes. Handle of bamboo, with ivory finial and salmon coloured silk tassel. Overall height 15 inches, or 37.5cms and maximum width 10.75 inches, 27cm.. Good.
Two Peas in a Pod, and more! Two ivory needle cases formed as pea pods, undulating to suggest the pea forms inside; a bone case of twisted form, with a cross as finial; a further case formed as an umbrella, the knop a clenched fist, and containing a stanhope with a picture of St. Maria Ander(ch?); and finally a bone and vegetable ivory tape measure of barrel form, unscrewing to hold needles in the middle, the finial again with a Stanhope, with a scene and the words ''reuine auf dem drachenfeld. This is a ruined castle in Germany, between Konigswinter and Bad Honnef. (5). One pea pod lacks the short stalk; one end spoke on the umbrella is chipped.
Five Various Sewing Tools. Comprising a carved ivory needle case, the pointed end no doubt also serving as a stiletto; an ivory needle case formed as a column, with domed ends and a small square left blank for initials; an ivory ???? with a honeycomb top and finial, which unscrew, the lower section also opening at the junction of the bulbous point; a tiny bone pincushion formed as a wheelbarrow with flowers carved each side and moving wheel, cream silk pad within; and a further needle case that unscrews either side of the bulbous central carving.. All appear sound but the final item has dark brown marking as if it has been caught in a flame.
A Meissen 'Ming Dragon' pattern porcelain tea service comprising coffee pot, lidded sugar basin, milk jug, six coffee cans and six saucers.Condition report: The lid of the coffee pot has a tiny chip on the tip of one petal of the rosebud finial. Every other piece in this service is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs and the gilding is bright and unworn. It seems virtually un-used. Height of coffee pot: 24cm.

A late 18th century Worcester porcelain 'Bat' pattern teapot, tea caddy and cover, and lidded jug, each having pseudo Chinese marks to base (3).Condition report: The teapot, two firing cracks to lid below the finial.Jug with tiny chip to finial and a flake to the edge of the lid.Caddy has a tiny flake on the rim near the lid, just a couple of glazed firing flaws to the foot.
