The 3.25in diam enamelled dial with Roman numerals, blued steel hands, the hour hand with heart shaped terminal, signed as above in the centre and set in a gilt brass mask pierced overall with foliage and flower heads, the four pillar two train chain fusee movement with anchor escapement rack striking on a bell, and signed on the backplate 'James Murray, London', the case with pineapple finial sloping pagoda pediment, glazed side panels, apron inlaid with scrolling foliage, shallow plinth and brass bun feet. 10.75in high (with keys; pendulum with milled rating nut)

A two-handled cup and cover, partly silver gilt, the cup of campana shape with wide border of oak leaves and acorns in relief, another of palmettes and flowers and having acanthus scroll handles, inscribed a presentation inscription dated 1908, the cover with similar palmette and floral border, other borders and a pineapple finial, 33.5cm (13.25") high 2360gms [Note: the cup bears hallmarks to the foot-rim but these have been obliterated by later chasing; the cover does not appear to be marked, but the screw to the finial has a lion mark].
