A 21 bore 18th Century French holster pistol fitted with a 12 1/2" barrel, it has a banana shaped lock with rounded surface and the stock has a metal butt cap with elongated spurs, it bears the name 'P IMAC YVES' on the lock, there is a small segment of wood missing from the muzzle end of the stock, the trigger guard is fractured on the wrist and the butt cap finial is partially unseated, the pan cover (fizzen), top jaw and screw are replacements

A Tsonga / Zulu staff Mozambique / South Africa carved a female figure finial with a cone shape coiffure and with her hands placed at the base of her slightly swollen abdomen, and wearing a short skirt, on a shaft, with blackened highlights, 112.5cm long. The cone like coiffure was a traditional Zulu form in the 19th century for married Zulu women and the slightly swollen abdomen suggests the early stages of pregnancy.
