A 20 bore percussion holster pistol converted from flintlock, by Bumford, c 1770, 12½” overall, 3 stage barrel 7½” with London and maker’s proofs, with line engraved signed slightly rounded lock, plain walnut fullstock, brass mounts including trigger guard with unusual globe finial. QGC (fore end split, some pitting to barrel, tumbler square missing, the hammer detached but present).
An officer’s 22 bore percussion holster pistol, by Ezekiel Baker & Son,15½” overall, sighted barrel 9” with flat topped breech engraved “E Baker & Son, Makers to his Majesty” within tapered panel terminating in a sunburst (the engraving partly obliterated by the rearsight), the signed back action lock engraved with scrolls and martial trophy within wavy border, the plain walnut fullstock with flared butt having small oval silver butt plate and escutcheon, the steel mounts comprising engraved trigger guard with pineapple finial and long ramrod pipe. A collection of Worcester tea wares decorated in coloured enamels with bouquets and scattered sprigs with gilt rims. Comprising of; a saucer dish, cream jug and cover, tea bowl, cup and saucer. Underglaze square seal marks c 1775. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Small chip to the under rim of the saucer dish. Cream jug finial restored. The other three pieces in good order.
