A late 19c French mantel clock in the form of a stepped drum supported on four cast scroll brackets on a hardwood base. The drum incorporates the 5diam dial and is surmounted by a dummy bell and a five leaf finial. The whole case is finished to resemble polished steel and the dial has individual numeral plaques in white enamel with black Roman numerals. The dial is inscribed 'Anciens Establissements, Ch. Gautier Bordeaux'. The movement has a lever platform escapement and is rack striking on a bell. The clock stands 22.5 tall.

A Regency mahogany and brass adjustable music stand, raised on a triform base with bun feet (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The music stand is in generally good order. The brass finial to the top of the pole is a little loose. The adjusting screw at the rear of the brass feral is very stiff. The brass rod is a little scuffed and marked in places but has no significant issues. The music stand itself is in good order and operates as it should. The carved column and base are in very good condition with only minor scratches and marks. The feet are in good order also.
A large Coalport lidded vase, jewelled. Height 43 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The ball finial to the lid has been broken and glued. Two rosettes have jewels missing. Both handles have been broken off and glued, one more crudely than the other. One jewel missing from the gilded rim. Jewelling intact on the blue shoulder. 3 cm fine hairline crack to the main body. Some jewelling missing from decoration on the main body. Sections of jewelling missing from the waisted base, one jewel missing from the foot. Two pieces of jewelling missing the square foot. The gilding is rubbed and with hairline cracks. Interestingly the underside has a blue and red marbled glaze. The socoled base has been broken off and reattached.
A Victorian walnut and ebonised music Canterbury, with brass gallery, turned columns, fall front cupboard and short turned legs with original castors. Width 59 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The fretwork gallery is in good condition with no losses. All four finials are present. The rear left finial is a little loose. The marquetry top is in generally good order with only minor old marks. The fretwork divisions and gallery to the middle shelf are all in good order as are the twist turned columns. The drawer is in good condition. All legs are original as are the castors. We can see no evidence of any woodwork.
A Victorian glass decanter, decorated with lily of the valley, and two others. CONDITION REPORT: Decanter one has a stopper with an accumulation of dirt to the incised line. The base of the stopper has tiny chips. There is a small chip to the base of the main decanter body but otherwise no further faults. Decanter two (facet neck) shows no post manufacture faults. Decanted three (enamel decorated) has rubbed gilding to the finial of the stopper. There is light gilt rubbing to the neck and body. Enamel appears intact. No other post production faults visible. None of the decanters have any engravings or makers marks.
An Edwardian simulated rosewood mantle clock, with two-train striking movement by Aird & Thomson, Glasgow. Width 25.5 cm, height 36 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is in generally good condition. All of the brasswork is present. The only minor issue is that the left hand front moulding at the bottom of the arch in front of the left finial is a later replacement. The movement winds on both trains and seems to be ticking away. It does strike when advanced.
An 18th century Chinese blue and white lidded vase, with Buddhistic lion finial and mask handles. Height 50 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: On the lid there is a tiny amount of fritting to the edge but otherwise in good order. The vase itself has some fritting to the top rim throughout; there are two small chips and one very small firing flaw to the top of a stiff leaf near the base. No further obvious faults.
A Herend coffee service, 15 piece, cased (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The coffee pot lid floral finial has a tiny chip. All other items have no obvious faults. However the presentation case front edge of lid and front left of base peeling. This is a demitasse size coffee service.. The cups have a bowl diameter of 7 cm and a height of 5 cm. The saucers have a diameter of 12 cm.
An antique oak dresser, with moulded cornice, carved frieze and long centre cupboard door flanked on either side by shelves, the base fitted with a series of drawers and cupboard and raised on bracket feet. Width across cornice 138 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Width 129.5cm, height 200cm, depth 52.5cm. There is a 4cm splice of wood missing from the upper left corner of the pediment, there is also a 6cm split directly beneath on the base of the pediment. There are small knocks along the carved frieze with an old gouge mark to the right hand side of the frieze, the right hand corbel has been split and repaired, the finial has also been broken of and glued. Slightly above the corbels on the left and right hand side there what appear to be small hammer marks. The backing is stained plywood. There are three obvious screw holes joining the dresser to the base on the left hand side and two to the right hand side. The dresser top does not fit flush to the base there is a small gap visible. The dresser base itself the top has old ring stain marks the right hand side panel has a full length split and also a small section of the front right hand bracket foot is missing from the side. There is a small hole above the centre middle drawer. All handles have been replaced; infills are visible. The dresser base cupboard door has a full length crack to the centre and an old repair to the right hand side. The bottom right hand drawer is missing a brass drop handle. Other splits and cracks commensurate with age.
Six Victorian watch fob seals, various (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: All six fobs are well used. They are all structurally sound and as stated showing signs of wear. The plated fob with the wheatsheaf has a small repair and has lost much of the gold plate. The gold coloured fob with the simple half loop is dented and scratched. The fob with two half hoops is scuffed and a little dented. The plated fob with the double scrolls has again lost much of the original plating. The most ornate fob has lost some of the plating. The finial fob has stress fractures, scratches and is quite badly worn. The seals are all in good order simply a little dirty.
Royal History - an Edwardian sailor's work souvenir ostrich egg, from the Royal Tour [of] South Africa 1901, painted and inscribed with a named-view of H.M.S. St. George in coloured pigment, urnular finial, lotus foot, 20cm high HMS St. George, a first-class cruiser of the Edgar class launched in 1892, was one of two escorts ships for the royal yacht HMS Ophir, which carried the then Duke and Duchess of York and Cornwall (later King George V and Queen Mary) during their tour of the British Empire in 1901.
