A Devon & Somerset Staghounds silver-mounted red deer slot by Rowland Ward & Co., c.1900, composed of a central reservoir with removable lid for holding a wick, and a removable metal spindle on either side with ball finial at the top and terminating in three prongs bent over each other, height approx. 135mm (5.25ins). A curious and unusual deer slot mounting, the two spindles perhaps for use as toddy warmers when heated in the wick. (1)

A George III silver baluster covered jug, possibly by Samuel Eaton, London 1775, with an acorn finial to the ogee domed cover, a split cane covered S-shaped handle, beaded borders, engraved with a crest, 27cm (10.25in) high, 712g (22.9 oz) gross. Lubenthal...Odessa 1842`, height approx 14cm.
