A 17th Century Italian etched Morion-Cabasset in the Pisan style, two-piece skull of characteristic almond form with down swept shallow brim , the whole with turned and roped edges, the base of the skull with fourteen lining rivets retaining their foliate brass washers, the whole etched with panels with geometric borders and filled with scrolling foliage. Finial crushed and one tail split.
