A George II silver coffee pot by David Willaume (II), London, 1731, tapering sides engraved with contemporary baroque coat of arms, faceted spout and bell-shaped finial, base engraved between the marks with small initials "SB", 21.5 cm. high, wt. 636 gm.There is silver solder all around foot but this in the making except for one area approx. 3 cm. long which is more ragged and looks like a repair. There is slight wear to arms consistent with age and use and a couple of small repairs in cover which has a small bruise and a tiny nick out of inner rim. Fully marked to base, lion passant in cover, maker's mark repeated on rim of cover.

Late 19th / early 20th century Chinese silver three piece tea set - comprising teapot of melon form, with panels decorated with bamboo foliage and warriors, spout with raised tortoise or turtle, dragon handle and hinged domed cover with dragon-head finial, matching sugar and cream - stamped Chinese character marks. All at approximately 29ozs, teapot 22cm across CONDITION REPORT General overall condition very good. No evidence of major repair. Teapot has a small hole in the handle approximately half way down the spine of the dragon. Rim inside cover slightly distorted and dragon. Finial whiskers are bent.
