Two 19th century Chinese Da Ya Zhai style vases, Guangxu period (1875-1908) the first with foliate everted rim applied with gilded guardian lions to the neck and four chi-long dragons around the shoulder, painted with black and gilt dragons  breathing red flames amongst blossoming chrysanthemum and peony branches, 20 cm high, the second of baluster form and domed cover with gilded guardian lion finial over a single applied dragon encircling the neck, painted with a similar design over a yellow lotus scroll band around the foot, 27 cm high  Da Ya Zhai (studio of greater odes) porcelain is often associated with the Emperess Dowager Cixi, who assumed regency during the reigns of the young Tongzhi (1862-74) and Guangxu (1875-1908) Emperors. It is believed that the porcelain designs are based on her paintings, produced for the restoration of the Yuanming Yuan (Old Summer Palace) towards the end of the 19th century, late Qing dynasty    The smaller vase has a shallow 1 cm chip to the underside of the everted rim, the other vase has a chip to the rim of the cover, two hairlines extend downward from the rim, glaze split through the base, both vases have small losses to the gilded lions and dragons, areas of wear to gilding and enamels

A Edwardian mahogany and chevron strung urn knife box with turned finial above rising lid enclosing the stepped sectioned interior, raised on a square section crossbanded base, height 65cm.Additional InformationIt has been repaired through the stem, some veneers missing in parts, there are two holes above the escutcheon which is missing indicating there should be another plate there. Some of the chevrons stringing has been replaced, some of the chevron stringing to the lid is missing, small loss to the finial. The action works correctly.

A pair of late 19th century French gilt metal porcelain mounted garnitures converted to electricity, height 45.5cm, and a similar smaller example (3).Additional InformationThis is not bronze. We are unsure what the metal is exactly. The gilt finish to the smaller urn is not original and is not executed well. Rubbing to the gilding on the porcelain mounts and some scratches to the porcelain mounts. The other two side ornaments lacking the finial to each and the porcelain mounts are loose to each of the base sections. General tarnishing and marks to the gilt metal throughout.

MEISSEN; an early 20th century relief decorated footed bowl with floral decoration, with gilt highlights on cobalt blue ground, cross swords mark to the underside, diameter 29.5cm, with three further pieces of Meissen, including a teapot decorated in the 'Onion' pattern, with rose finial, height 12cm, also seven early 20th century hand painted desert plates of floral decoration inside a gilt and green shaped border, diameter 23.5cm (12).Additional InformationWear to the gilding on each of the plates and on the large blue Meissen bowl. Scratches to the surfaces of the hand painted plates. Two examples with chips to the underside. The Meissen plate with the pierced border is of seconds quality. The teapot with a very small chip to the spout, the lidded bowl with a large chip to the rim.

HEREND; a large tureen and cover with strawberry finial and reticulated decoration throughout, diameter 25.5cm, with a Herend porcelain desk stand with detachable inkwells, width 21cm, and a twin handled saucer tureen and cover, width 17.5cm (3).Additional InformationAs stated, all of the items were produced by Herend. The smaller sauce tureen with a chip to the underside of one of the leaves. Minor wear to the gilding, one of the covers of the desk stand with a tiny chip to the flower petal top, sellotape/glue residue to the body of the piece.

COPELANDS; a pair of porcelain rose painted urns and covers each with gilt heightening on a cobalt blue ground, painted marks to base and each lid with gilt printed mark 'Daniel Wigmore St. London', height 20cm.Additional InformationOne has been off the square sectioned base and crudely glued back. Light surface marks and rubbing to gilding on both. One has graze cracks to the square sectioned base and also the ball finial has been off one and reapplied with an area of restoration to the gilt band beneath this.

The vase with lilac painted foot rim has a couple of small chips to the rim, one of which has been over-painted, otherwise ok. The jar and cover has had the lid in two sections which has been glue repaired. The tip of the finial also missing, rubbing to the gilding and a couple of tiny chips to the rim. The cornucopia has had a few small chips to the rim, one of which has been over-painted, otherwise ok.

DERBY; a 19th century floral decorated gilt heightened cobalt blue ground twin handled vase and cover with moulded masks to the bottom of the handles, printed marks to base, also no.876x, height 13cm and a circa 1900 Japanese baluster vase, height 19.5cm (2).Additional InformationThe Derby vase has some rubbing to the gilding noticeably on the mask noses and around the finial but free from any damage or repairs just rather dirty. A small blemish to the foot rim but this is in manufacture. Japanese vase likewise some surface wear but overall in good condition.

The vase itself has paint loss and some areas where it has not fired correctly on the green. General pitting and surface wear, a few small chips to the foot rim.

The case with dents and knocks, the clock dial and movement in poor condition. The jug is missing a foot and the remaining two are heavily bent, the top is dented and with numerous dents to the body. The bowl with numerous dents to the rim and body.

WILLIAM HUTTON & SONS; a late Victorian hallmarked silver vegetable dish, liner and cover with turned wooden handle and knopped finial and plug to the dished section on the interior, Sheffield 1897, diameter 22cm, length including handle approx 35cm, approx 66.33ozt/2063.4g.Additional InformationCrest engraved armorial to both lid and main body, also with inscription 'Presented to the Right Honorable Lord and Lady Hothfield on the occasion of their silver wedding December 17th 1897 by the household servants'. The lid is slightly misshapen and therefore not sitting entirely true to the base, general surface wear throughout with tarnishing and toning, Heavier wear to the interior and a few dents around the foot rim.

An early 20th century hallmarked silver ewer of small proportions, the hinged lid with high scroll wooden handle tapering main body to spreading circular foot, Sheffield hallmark but date letter obscured, height 18.25cm, approx 5.7ozt/178.4g.Additional InformationTarnishing and toning throughout, the main problem is the hallmark being obscured, there is a dent to the handle where the finial has hit it over the years. The handle is very slightly loose, it stands true.

A Commonwealth silver seal top spoon, the fig shaped bowl on tapered stem with leafy terminal having traces of gilding, smooth nimbus, 17.4cm l, by Stephen Venables, London 1650, 1oz 19dwts Stem slightly bent when viewed from the side, marks good, small old blob of solder at base of terminal on front and possibly a replacement, but no evidence of spoon ever having had a finial with 'v' shaped as opposed to but joint, nimbus smooth and slightly rounded with a few scratches
