A 20th Century hallmarked silver gilt four piece melon shaped tea set each raised on four scroll shell feet, detailed with swag engraved decoration and terminating in flower finial, total weight approximately 90 oz, Sheffield 1965, EHP & Co Ltd, with a matched silver plated twin handled tray. ILLUSTRATED.
A 19th century ormolu and porcelain clock, with Japy Freres two-train movement, with vase and cover finial, with musical emblem beneath to the cylindrical case and ceramic dial with Roman numerals, flanked by seated cherubs and lion mask to front. Height 18 ins, width 10.5 ins (see illustration).
A George III mahogany longcase clock by Henry Tyson of Egremont, with brass finial between the swans neck pediment above the arched glazed door enclosing the painted dial with moon phase to arch, with Arabic numerals, subsidiary date and seconds dial and with two-train movement by Henry Tyson, Egremont, flanked by simple turned columns, with three quarter length arched trunk door beneath being boxwood strung and flanked by reeded pilasters and with conforming base raised on bracket feet. An Edwardian inlaid mahogany longcase clock, having a swans neck pediment with steeple and ball finial above the arched glazed door enclosing the silvered brass dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial with eight day striking movement, flanked by fluted columns with Corinthian capitals, the trunk door inlaid with urn and cover swags and bellflower ornament, the base similar, raised on bracket feet. A William IV silver teapot, with lamb finial to the foliate engraved bullet shaped body, with loop handle and faceted spout, inscribed "Presented to Mr William Hodgson Low Walton for the Best Managed Farm by the West Cumberland Agricultural Society the Premium of Edward Stanley Esq. MP Ponsonby Hall October 24 1837", London mark 1837. 769 grams gross (see illustration).
