19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK, by D Morgan Ystalyfera, having broken swan neck pediment with brass eagle finial, above arched aperture flanked by wrythen columns, the waist with plain crossbanded door flanked by canted angles on a crossbanded panel base with bracket feet. Arched painted face decorated with figure animals and buildings, having Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. 17.5" x 13".
A French boulle bracket clock and bracket, embossed gilt dial with 25 enamel pieces, the centre re-enamelled and signed Fieffe a Paris, the square plated movement by Japy Freres in a waisted case with boulle parquetry floor, the whole with small mother of pearl flowers and ormolu mounts, cherub finial with matching bracket, circa 1860; the whole 2ft11in (90cm) high.

(6cms) high; together with a plated sauce boat, (handle detached); a white metal ashtray, (much dented and piece missing); a set of twelve A1 plate teaspoons, by Elkington & Co, in old English pattern with engraved '3rd Bn Durham L.I.' insignia to terminals; a silver plated trophy cover, (missing finial); a tea strainer; and various candelabra parts.
A Victorian claret jug, by Edward & John Barnard, London 1856, of fluted baluster form, the domed cover mounted by floral finial, vine pattern handle, the body embossed and chased with fruit, flowers and leaves, engraved with 'III The Durham Lt Infantry' insignia below 'Officers' Annual Shooting Cup', with engraved names and dates of winners to cartouche on reverse and on neck, 14in. (35cms) high, 42.9oz.
A George VI silver lidded tankard, by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd., London 1937, the cover with flattened dome mounted by ram pattern finial and scrolling thumbpiece, the tapering body with engraved armorial and inscribed "The guift of Francis & Mary Burton, 1684", 8in. (20.3cms), 34.02oz. Note: Many of these tankards are engraved on the underside 'The Coronation Gift of the Clothworker's Company 1937'.

A George II coffee pot, by William Partis, Newcastle 1754, of baluster form, the domed cover with leaf covered acorn shaped finial, the body with cast spout decorated with floral designs and turned wooden handle, raised on spreading base, decorated overall with later embossed and engraved foliate decoration, the base bearing inscription 'The gift of E Hodgson to Isabl Carr', 10in. (25cms) high, 30.5oz. gross.
A French silver covered goblet, probably 19th Century, the cover decorated with hounds and quarry in a woodland, the finial of a huntsman blowing a horn, the goblet bowl with leaf design and wreath below flared rim, the main the Diana, Goddess of hunting in a carriage being drawn by stags and attended by huntsmen, cherubs, hounds and others, the stem with two stags' heads, the base decorated with design to match lid, 16 1/2in. (42cms) high, 28oz.
A 19th Century Balkan flintlock pistol, the 10 1/4in. (26cms) 20 bore tapering barrel with flintlock (possibly not original), the underside of the lock engraved with shield mark, the trigger without guard, the furniture inlaid with wire work, carved red coral beads running down the back of the handle, also inlaid with mother-of-pearl panels, fluted dome pommel with conforming decoration and coral finial (probably a replacement), 17 1/4in. (44cms) overall.

(33cms) high. Note: 'Vivos Voco Mortuos Planco Fulgura Frango' is the first line of the poem 'Song of the Bell' by Friedrich Schiller (published 1798).
