A George III Silver Tea Caddy Set with Case, Samuel Taylor, London 1767, comprising a pair of tea caddies and a covered sugar bowl, each pyriform and chased with typical flowers and scrolls, with domed covers terminating in a flower finial, raised on a pierced and chased spreading foot, 14cm high, 23oz 9dwt all in; In a Breakfront Dark Shagreen Case, the mounts stamped I.W, with a stepped hinged cover, pierced and engraved silver feet, hinges and lock, the handle plate engraved with a crest, being a dolphin bowed and naiant, raised on ball and claw feet, the fitted interior lined with purple velvet and silver piping, 33cm wide Caddies good condition. Marked fully under each base, passant to the cover of the sugar bowl, the tea caddy covers not marked. The case in general good condition but with several small tears and scuffs. The mounts to the case very tarnished.

An Empire Ormolu Striking Mantel Clock, signed Bergmiller a Paris, surmounted with a figure reclining on a bed with an infant, green rectangular marble plinth, 3-1/2-inch enamel dial with Roman numerals, twin barrel movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, silk suspension, 36cm high 24.11.14, Ormolu surfaces are faded, one finial missing to the top, marble base with small chips, dial with hairline cracks and small scratches, winding hole with minor chips, hand collet and pin missing, movement is dirty and needs cleaning, bell nut is missing, countwheel with signs of solder and a old repair, pendulum missing.

A musical longcase clock, the 30 cm arched square brass dial having a silvered chapter ring, signed Wm North, London, with a subsidiary CHIME/SILENT and seconds dial, fitted an eight day movement striking on eight bells and a gong, in an inlaid mahogany case, 234 cm high (over finial) (case a.f.) See illustration Condition report Report by RB The dial has 4 Bells/8 Bells regulator 2 III, the gilt spandrels to the arch are of a more glitzy gilt colour, and actually cover some engraved decoration and are therefore probably later, there is a hole to the CHIME/SILENT subsidiary dial, just underneath the centre pin of the dial, the movement is quite substantial, as you would expect, but clearly has not run in a decade or two, the case has now fallen to pieces and is in a flat pack condition (!), having been subjected to several years of central heating, the trunk door is slightly bowed, as is the base sections, the back board (to which the gong is attached) has a Spillman & Co, St Martin's Lane, London, ivorine plaque, there is a section of approx. 6.5 cm taken out of the back right hand side, about 90% towards the top (approx. 1.5 cm deep), and although the case now needs putting back together it is actually quite a pleasing colour, with general knocks, wear and tear as one would expect, with pendulum (repaired) and two weights, most of the case parts are present, it has basically just collapsed due to central heating in the house for too long
