A French Boulle type mantel clock, late 19th century - the half hour gong striking movement with three stars on a banner trademark and medaille, no. 5786 52, sunburst mask pendulum, the baroque case with gilt dial and applied enamel Roman numerals, glazed panel below, flame finial and foliate scroll and mask gilt brass mounts, on joined scroll feet, 39 cm high, in running order and striking correctly when catalogued.
A Chinese pewter mounted Yixing red terracotta five-piece tea service - early 20th century, comprising a large teapot with twin brass swing handles, a small teapot, a hot water jug, 15 cm high, a two-handled sucrier (lacks cover) and a slop bowl, the first four pieces with impressed seven character marks, the bowl stamped 'Deh Yu Wei Hai Wei' and with four character mark, the pewter mounts depicting long-bodied dragons and Shou symbols, faults. (5)* Condition: Large teapot lacks finial from cover. Small firing crack to one of the raised dome handle stops to the top of the body. The small teapot has old glued breaks and losses to the cover. Section of dragon's body detached on the overlay to the sucrier. No other faults.

An interesting octagonal shaped delft plaque or dish, painted with an Oriental figure amongst flowering trees, and flowers around the rim, with a modern fixing to the reverse (22.5cms by 18.5cms). Also with a lidded spice jar marked for 'U Basil N' (24cms high), both with damages and lid not original to the jar. (2). *CR Plaque or dish, large chip around the top, smaller chip to one side and some fritting and nibbles to the rim, stain to the top left corner, glaze has developed some cracks over time to the top and base, base has lost a large section of glaze. Delft jar, lid not original to the jar, has been broken and has sections missing, finial restored, large section of rim repaired, chips to the rim and restoration underneath. Jar, has a crack which runs from the rim downwards (4.5cms long), small hairline from the rim (1cms long) small chips and glaze loss around the rim, various chips around the side of the base rim and chips underneath.

Roderic More O'Ferrall (1903-1990), Kildangan Castle, County Kildare, Ireland; then by descent. Offered at Sotheby's in November 2011, lot 252. *CR Splits to the sides, one cupboard door slightly bowed, central finial from cornice loose, three door panes cracked, no key, drawers locked, one drawer missing, repairs and split to one side.
An unusual pair of lidded porcelain jars, each in low relief and including Neptune, mermaids and cherubs in a water scene, the other with classical figures and each with a dome top lid with fruit shaped finial. Factory mark to the base of one jar, 25.5cms high. (2). *CR Neptune, lid has a small chip to the side of the rim, jar - has a small chip to the rim, touch of wear to the gilding in spots otherwise fine. The other, lid - has a chip to the side of the rim and another smaller chip. Jar - some wear around the base to the gilding.
with a shaped cornice and panel back, carved Lion masks on each end and with an arrangement of oak coat hooks, the lower section with stick stands on each side with metal drip trays, and supporting a shelf in the centre, height 205cms high, widest point 136cms. *CR Finial on one stick stand is chipped, some of the hooks have been off and restuck, one Lion has a chip to the top of the crest, general wear over time with use.
A large Meissen dinner service, each painted with sprays of flowers and individual flowers and insects, and with a New Brandenstein relief border to the rim. Comprising 4 lidded tureens with figural finials (two 34cms across, two 33cms across), pair of sauceboats, pair of large platters (50cms across), pair of large platters (46cms across), single platter (36cms across), 57 dinner plates (24cms diameter), and 20 bowls (23cms diameter). *CR Detailed condition reports for large services are not available, however obvious damages are - Tureen, figure finial and section around it has been broken and is loose, tureen lids with nibbles to the encrusted flowers. Platters (46cms across), both with small firing cracks to footrim from manufacture, otherwise the various platters seem generally fine. Sauceboats, seem fine Plates in mixed condition, 11 with chips to rim (and three also with chip to footrim), 13 with chips to footrim, one cracked, one with crack to base, minor nibbles in places and some wear to gilding in places. Bowls in mixed condition, three with chips to the rim (one large chip, one with various chips to footrim, four with chip to footrim, one with large section of the rim broken and repaired, some wear in places to the gilding and odd nibble in places.
Including a 17thc Chinese lidded porcelain bowl, painted with a floral design on a blue ground and with a collection label to the base (Hatcher Collection, Christies Amsterdam, 14-03-1984), 7.5cms high. Also with a Japanese Meiji period rectangular shaped lacquered box, decorated with butterflies and foliage and with a gold coloured interior, (18cms by 6cms), and an alabaster or onyx cylindrical brush pot (8.5cms high). (3). *CR Lacquered box, base of the box has a tiny nick to the rim, small nick to the base and some wear, inside rim of the lid has a couple of tiny nicks and a little wear, inside of the lid has a few spots of surface loss and small crack on one corner. Porcelain lidded jar, the inside of the rim has a couple of small nicks, small firing crack to the base and footrim, small nibble to the footrim, finial is plain in colour - possibly trimmed? Cylindrical pot, some red marks around the rim, some surface cracks to the base and some wear around the base.
Probably 18thc, with an ovoid shaped body and octagonal shaped lower section, painted with vases of flowers, birds and flowers (29.5cms high). Also with a delft lid (not originally from this jar), both pieces with damages. (2). *CR Jar, missing it's lid, large chip to the rim and various areas of glaze loss to the rim, some hairline cracks to the rim, large crack to the lower section which runs in two directions including one which runs underneath the base, crack running up the body to the ovoid section, various glaze loss around the lower section and base and small chips. Lid, finial has been off and repaired, chip to the top of the finial, section of the rim repaired, various chips around the rim and glaze loss, large chip underneath.
