A circa 1900 stained beech and walnut spring driven Vienna style wall clock, length approx 90cm. CONDITION REPORT: This lot has not been tested, no guarantee of working order, dial numbers printed on, small pockmark below 11:30, lost finial to pediment, splits, small chips, rubbing to finish, etc.
A large quantity of Coalport floral painted blue ground teaware. CONDITION REPORT: Crazing, rubbing to gilt and painted decoration, pitting to glaze, some scratches, finial of lid of one of larger twin handled bowls broken and re-glued, staining throughout, several items af to include two teacups.
CHARLES BOYTON II; a pair of Victorian hallmarked silver Fiddle pattern tablespoons, London 1841 and 1867, and a sauce ladle, London 1893, also an Old English pattern berry spoon, Stephen Adams I, London 1805, length 22.5cm, approx 8.3ozt (4). CONDITION REPORT: All in generally good condition, the pair of tablespoons with rubbing predominantly to one side of the bowl, general minor surface wear commensurate with age and usage, the finial of the berry spoon is misshapen and has got some imperfections to the back (traces of soldering?), rubbing to gilt.
A French giltwood and gilt metal mounted mantel clock, the circular dial set with Roman and Arabic numerals and with painted figural and floral detail, the movement no. 4206 and pendulum no. 1809, height 43.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Condition issues throughout, finial almost certainly a replacement with vacant fixtures around it to the dome top, crazing, chips, losses especially to the gilding and paintwork, similar losses to the gilt of the metal mounts, surface chips and losses, general wear and tear throughout, some spotting to the dial, has not been tested, no guarantee of working order.
LEE & WIGFULL; a Victorian hallmarked silver tea caddy of shaped rectangular form with repoussé foliate scroll decoration, on four scrolling feet, Sheffield 1896, approx 9.1ozt. CONDITION REPORT: The shelf finial and section where it joins the lid has been dented so the finial is now at an angle and there is a dent where it joins the lid, further dents throughout including to some of the concave panels to the upper section, further scratches, nicks and gouges, general wear and tear, stand with a slight wobble on a flat surface.
ELKINGTON & CO LTD; an Edward VII hallmarked silver footed part gadrooned coffee pot with angled handle, Birmingham 1901, height 25cm including finial, approx 16.8ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Mild surface wear and dirt, tarnish, areas of dints along the upper edge, some scratches and smaller dints to odd areas of the main body, foot intact, a major dent to one side below the rim close to the handle, hallmarks slightly rubbed.
Two similar late 19th century/early 20th century turned boxwood glove powderers, height 13cm, and a pair of turned lignum vitae cotton boxes with screw-on lids, each set with a bone finial, pierced to allow the thread to come through, height 8cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both lignum vitae pots have chips to the bases, and surface knocks, also losses to the bone finials. Glove powderers have light surface wear and a few small knocks but basically ok.
A circa 1900 German oak cased mantel clock with caddy top above brass base with circular dial, height 48cm including turned finials (af). CONDITION REPORT: One of the hands is broken off and there is a finial missing, we cannot guarantee that the clock is in working order, areas of losses, general surface wear, missing front door hook.
A good 19th century yew wood lidded pedestal bowl, the cover with turned knop finial above a baluster turned body with spreading circular foot, height 22cm. CONDITION REPORT: A lovely rich dark colour throughout, a few tiny knocks to the cover. Base has a split running through it but of an exceptional patina and colour.
A small group of 18th century New Hall porcelain comprising a set of three floral decorated teacups with one matching, a coffee can, a saucer, a teapot, length 19cm, and a baluster coffee pot (restored, majority of items restored) (8). CONDITION REPORT: The coffee pot has been extensively restored, mainly to upper part and handle, the cover crudely restored and with major losses, the teapot with chips to rim of the cover and fritting/chips to the tip of the finial, extensive pitting around the top rim and numerous firing imperfections, chip to edge of the base, majority of other items with hairline cracks, some stained, coffee can with underglaze imperfection, the saucer with chip to the inside rim of the base, all with general surface wear commensurate with age.
A good 19th century turned lignum vitae cylindrical box and cover, the lid with knop finial above main body with two raised bands and spreading circular foot, height 18cm, diameter 13cm. CONDITION REPORT: Retains a lovely colour throughout, some signs of wood worm to the body but overall in good order.
A Victorian yellow metal, jet and pearl mourning stick pin, the finial of concentric stepped navette form, with central yellow metal star set single pearl to jet panel and with beaded border decoration, the gently convex verso with braided hair under oval glass, engraved to border details and date 1878, (yellow metal assessed as gold 18ct.), height 7.7cm, (gross weight 4.5g), in original fitted case.
