A French Louis XV style boulle type marquetry mantel clock, the backplate unsigned, numbered 992, the cushion enamel and gilt dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, unsigned, the case veneered with tortoiseshell and inlaid with brass with scrolling leaves and flowers, surmounted with a seated putti finial, 52 cm high, together with a similar bracket, 31 high, late 19th century, complete key and pendulum.
A 19th century white marble and ormolu cased portico type mantle clock, the drum cased movement with a white enamel dial, with black and puce Arabic numerals, signed centrally Vauchez a Paris, raised on two lyre shaped pillars with inset porcelain cartouches, below blossoming ormolu sprigs, surmounted with a classical urn finial draped with foliate garland, over a rectangular platform decorated with further highly detailed ormolu mounts, raised on six inverted feet, the movement plat unmarked, complete with sun burst pendulum and key, 52 cm high, 35 cm wide.

A mahogany longcase clock, early 20th century, of narrow form, single train movement with chain and pendulum. Height 185 cm, width across hood 20.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The hood is missing both finials. The left hand finial support is missing the very top platform. The door whilst not warped has no glass. Otherwise the hood is in good order. The movement is very dirty and we have not had it running. We do not have the weight, but do have the pendulum. The brass dial is very dirty. The case itself has some surface scratches to the trunk door and a gouge bottom centre left and another gouge to the right hand side of the door as well as some nibbles to the right hand edge. The door is not warped. The base panel has a veneer loss to the top left hand corner. The front left bracket foot is partially missing.
A set of eight Arts & Crafts oak dining chairs, each stamped with a Registration No. "455736" to the underside of the rear seat rail, with drop in seats and raised on tapered legs of square section terminating in spade feet (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: All chairs are structurally very sound with no loose joints. There are no significant issues with any really. One has had a break to the top finial on the right-hand side when facing front. This should be visible in our image. Another one has had a similar break which is not so visible. Both breaks are very sound and secure with no movement. The caps to the top of each stile all have varying degrees of rubbing and nibbles to the corners. None are broken they are just rubbed and marked through use. All chairs have minor scuffs to the extremities all of which could be easily sorted with a clean and polish. The leather seats are all in good condition with no sagging. There are scuffs and no perforations. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
An early Victorian mahogany longcase clock, with arched painted dial with scenes depicting commerce to the arch and the spandrels emblematic of the four seasons, with eight day striking movement the case with applied mouldings and raised on short bun feet. Height 230 cm including finial. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is in generally good condition. The hood is in good order. The door is not warped. Around the arch there is a small piece of shallow moulding. There is a small section of this missing at the right hand side of the clock towards the wall. The trunk door is not warped. We have two weights and a pendulum. The right hand side of the case has a stress fracture to the timber would easily rectify. The base panel has stress fracture running from left to right. The plinth base and feet are in generally good order. We have not had the clock running, but when weight is applied to the going train it appears to tick. The same applies to the strike train. The date hand is missing. The minute pointer has had a broken end.
A 19th century mahogany and inlaid bureau bookcase, having a swans neck and fretwork pediment with central urn finial above the glazed doors with inlaid corners enclosing adjustable shelves, above the bureau base with inlaid fall front enclosing a fitted interior of pigeon holes and drawers with central door, all above four graduated and inlaid and oak lined drawers with cast brass drop handles and oval backplates, supported upon shaped bracket feet. 91.5 cm wide, 223 cm high, 52.5 cm deep (see illustration).
A Georgian oak longcase clock, with arched brass dial and two train striking movement with long trunk door flanked by fluted quarter column corners and raised on bracket feet. Height including finial 204 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is in generally extremely good condition. The hood is in good order. The door is not warped. The glass is not cracked. The trunk door is also not warped. The sides of the case are in good condition. The base boards are all in good order as are the original bracket feet. The silvered brass dial has some tarnishing. We have two weights. We have a pendulum. The pendulum bob is detached from the suspension. We have not had the clock going but if weight is applied to the going train the movement appears to operate. When weight is applied to the strike train the movement does strike. The movement appears to be complete although a little dirty. The case backboards have been replaced.
An early 19th century mahogany longcase clock by John Lundie, Dundee, with swans neck pediment above the arched painted dial enclosing the two train eight day striking movement flanked by turned columns with three quarter length trunk door flanked by quarter column corners and all raised on bracket feet. Height including finial 222 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is in extremely good condition. The door is not warped. There is a small piece of left hand return moulding detached just beneath the bottom of the left hand pillar. We have the piece. The trunk door is not warped. The base is also in very good order. We have the pendulum. We also have both weights and the key. The clock has come to us from a local property and was ticking away in situ.

A Wedgwood creamware tub and cover, circa 1785, with integral stand, 31cm long CONDITION REPORT: There is a restored chip to one corner of the stand, with a restored small hole at the same end. The side of the tub has a restored section. The finial on the cover has been broken off and restored.

Restored crack to one side. Plate - minor rim chips, faint crazing throughout, small hole to centre (not through).

Ivory border the same with splits. Split panel to one side and front. Otherwise in good condition.
A Worcester (Barr, Flight & Barr) two-handled vase, cover and stand, circa 1815, printed and impressed marks, painted with a study of shells, reserved on a salmon coloured ground gilt with oak leaves and rosettes, 17cm high (the vase and cover cracked and restored)/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: The cover is restored to the point and stem of the finial and to a section of rim. The vase has been cracked in a 'V' shape from handle to handle and under the front shell panel (the painting is intact and original). It has been bonded and concealed to the interior (now yellowing). One handle had been restored. The stand without damage.

Some sanding to gilding.Marcolini cup and cover- finial with very minor chipping and re-gilding, minute chip and flake to gilt rim of cup.

A George III silver pear-shaped coffee pot, probably Robert Pinkney, Newcastle circa 1760, the cover with urn finial, fitted a fruitwood handle on a circular foot, 32cm high (lid damaged), approximately 920gm/Note: Crest of Spence-Jones/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: 116: Cover detached fairly cleanly. Cover not hallmarked. Two crests. 1 or 2 small dents. Slight wear to handle. Foot rim bent. Blackened under - looks as if it has been above a spirit burner at some point.
A Fürstenberg bullet-shaped teapot and cover, circa 1755, blue script f mark painted with birds on leafy branches (handle cracked and restored), 10cm high, together with a Meissen yellow ground tea bowl and a saucer painted with Indianische Blumen, blue crossed swords marks, circa 1735, (perhaps matched) and a Meissen coffee cup, painted with a milkmaid and cattle, circa 1750 (3) CONDITION REPORT: The teapot- Finial with a petal chipped off and a small flat rim chip. Crack to handle terminal with some yellowed spray. Teacup with chipping to footrim. Saucer without damage. Coffee cup with restored rim section, small rim chip and handle chip.
A Worcester hot milk jug and cover, circa 1760, the crossed swords and 6. mark, printed and painted with figures before a temple, fountain and lake and obelisk, 14.5cm high (minor chipping to finial) CONDITION REPORT: 345 - small hair crack where spout joins body, firing flaw to inner foot rim.

Restoration to a professional standard and gilding refreshed. The green ground on the cover is a good match to the body although is slightly more matt in appearance. The vase itself is in good order, there is a minute chip and a small flake to gilding at one corner of base. The painted scene is in good order, minute wear to gilding
W.A.S. BENSON. A set of six (five plus 1) Arts & Crafts silver spoons by W.A.S. Benson. Five spoons with stylised heart shaped finials, one with strap work finial. Five spoons fully stamped for London 1912. The single spoon stamped London 1909. All with WB maker's mark. Length 14cm (5) & 13cm (1). In fitted W.A.S. Benson Co. Ltd. box. (Box damaged but repairable). Note: Benson's silverware was not included in his everyday production. He produced tableware including sweet dishes & candlesticks as prestige, expensive items, & sold them via an illustrated Yuletide catalogue. Ref: 'W.A.S. Benson' Ed. by Ian Hamerton. A.C.
