Ca. 900-1100 ADA bronze pendant in a form of a cross patoncé with four equal-length arms meeting in a disc at the centre. Each arm flares towards the pointed finial. Box:Overall this box is in good condition. The very minor condition faults are listed in more detail below:There is a small chip to two of the leaf terminals on the cover. A small rim chip the edge of the cover is gilded with what appears to be original 18th century gilding, so it dates from the time of manufacture. There are some minute flakes and wear to the gilt rim of the box, and a few minute scratches to the surface. All of these are extremely minor. Meissen Basket:One handle has probably been broken off and re-stuck, and the surrounding area has been overpainted. With time this overpainted area has yellowed, but as the porcelain in these areas is still translucent, it appears as though this area is not restored, and it is merely over-zealous overpainting extending far beyond the re-stuck handle. There is some chipping to the flowers and foliage and handle terminals. Berlin basket:Overall this basket is in good condition. There are a few minute areas of wear, which are extremely minor.

A chip to the rim of the milk jug. Otherwise in good condition with general surface dirt consistent with age.
A Vienna (Sorgenthal) gold-ground teapot and cover, c.1796, finely painted with pendant swags of ivy below a garland of flowers between purple bands, the rim, shallow-domed cover and borders with raised gilt decoration, the cover interior richly gilt, impressed 96 and 33, 12.7cm highNote: For a slightly earlier teapot (of circa 1780) of related form (but with a curved spout), see E.W. Braun, Geschichte der K. K. Wiener Porzellan-Manufaktur, Vienna, 1907, pl. XVIII.Overall this teapot is in very good condition – the gilding and coloured enamels are bright and vibrant. There is some very slight wear to the tip of the spout – this is very minor indeed, and there are two small areas of slight flaking to the gilding on the cover – one below the finial and the other near the purple band borders around the edge – neither are very noticeable and both are minor. There are a few further minute flakes to the gilt body, and there are areas of very slight wear to the burnished gilding (which do not penetrate through to the white porcelain beneath). This teapot is remarkably fresh in appearance.
