Blade 20cms, overall 30.5cms. Good condition (small chip to point of one grip).

Overall 27cms, blade 17cms (tip slightly shortened). Good condition.
^ Good 19th Century India Mail Piercing Dagger Zirah Bouk, recurved wootz blade with burnished thick diamond section point, decorated with gold koftgari flowers and foliage at forte and around the grip strap, 2 piece ivory grips with tall pommel ears, in its green velvet covered sheath with silver gilt mouthpiece and ball finial. Overall 28cms, blade 18cms. Good condition, small chips to one pommel ear, velvet partly detached. Please note a CITES certificate will need to be acquired for export outside of the European Union
Early Indian Sword Khanda, 17th Century, broad double edge spatulate blade swollen towards the tip, and braced by long ribbed langets, iron hilt of conventional form, iron grip cut with chevrons, shallow dish pommel with jingling washers and large octagonal bud finial. Blade 71cms, overall 91cms. Good condition, well age worn, hilt rusty with small hole to pommel dish, some moderate pitting to one side of blade.
Indian Sword Khanda, 18th Century, broad double edge spatulate blade swollen towards the tip and braced at the forte with a steel mount in the form of a long lotus stem with up-turned bud finial, iron hilt of conventional form, broad knuckle bow and tall top spike with a lotus bud finial. Blade 81cms, overall 105cms. Good condition, some age wear overall, one small bracket which secures the hilt to the blade missing.
Good Indian Fighting Sword Khanda, Late 17th or Early 18th Century, broad heavy single edge blade swollen towards the pointed tip, deeply struck with a trisula and 2 pellets within a circle, traces of engraved decoration at forte in the form of Ganesh, Durga and Hanuman, robust iron hilt of conventional form with broad ribbed knuckle guard, iron grip, cup-shaped pommel with tall octagonal section spike and fluted bud –shaped finial. Blade 79cms, overall 103cms. Good untouched condition and excellent age patina overall. Note: for similar stamp on a Lahori tulwar blade in the V&A see The Indian Sword, Rawson, 1968, Pl.44.
Indian Sword, Probably Mysore Late 18th or Early 19th Century, single edge blade cut with 3 narrow fullers, silver gilt hilt with lion’s head pommel and quillon terminals, knuckle bow with Makara head finial. Blade 76cms. Generally good condition, the blade cleaned bright, some age wear overall and one quillon terminal slightly deformed.
Heavy All-Steel Indian Battle Axe Zagnal, possibly 18th century, curved head with thickened point and 2 pairs of shallow fullers, baluster mount with an elephant in relief on the peen, dome-shaped finial, the 5 stage haft is alternatively polygonal and multi-facetted and with a turned finial. Good condition and with good age patina. Overall length 70cms, blade 20cms.
Indian All Iron Elephant Goad Ankus, 18th Century, of conventional form, thick diamond section curved hook with tiny turned finial, stepped head and top spike variously sectioned and with chevrons, ribs and punched decoration overall, integral iron haft part octagonal towards the head. Overall 55cms. Good condition and age patina.
Rare Ottoman/Turkish Shirvan-Shah or Ak-Koyunlu Iron Turban Helmet, 15th Century or Early 16th Century, embossed with 16 vertical flutes, one piece bowl rising to a typical flared finial above a pierced and facetted device, and fitted with a sliding nasal bar with spade-shaped finial, tall plain border pierced to hold a [missing] camail. Diameter of bowl 24cms. Quite good condition, rusted overall, some forging flaws and a little filling.
Late 16th Century Heavy Italian Helmet Cabaset, raised from a single plate, tall peak with ‘pear stalk’ finial, distinct medial ridge, border pierced for [missing] brass rosettes, integral brim with turned over edge slightly pointed at front and back, smooth polished exterior finish. Good condition.
Mid-17th Century Cavalry Trooper’s Walloon Sword, straight double edge blade deeply stamped with the running wolf and commemorative date 1515 on both sides within a broad short fuller. Iron hilt, large pierced guards with reinforced edges, integral thumb ring, swollen quillon finial, edge of guard and knuckle bow both with swollen balusters, the latter screwed to swollen iron pommel. Original iron grip wire. Blade 35”. Good condition, grip wire now consolidated, blade lightly pitted with some moderate pitting to the tip of the blade.
Scarce French Light Cavalry Officer’s Sword, probably Chasseurs c.1789-1794, broad slightly curved single edge blade cut with a narrow fuller and with false edge, etched Vaincre ou Mourir Pour La Nation, crowned oval containing 3 fleurs-de-lys, with small military trophies and foliage, brass stirrup hilt with Phrygian cap and staff in relief on langets, lion’s head pommel, stepped quillon finial, fine copper wire bound grip. Blade 74cms. Good untouched condition.
Scarce French Infantry Hanger ‘Sabre de Representant du Peuple’ c.1792-1793, curved flat single edge blade, double edge at tip, regulation brass guard with broad flat side bar, stepped quillon finial, brass pommel and gripstrap, brass wire bound leather covered grip (wire incomplete). Blade 60cms. Good untouched condition. See Aries 1970, 3rd fasicule for 6 variations of this sword.
Short Model Turkish 1903 Bayonet, two piece wooden grips with domed steel rivets, stampings to the top pommel and underneath cross guard and muzzle ring. Steel blade with central fuller. Housed in its original steel scabbard with brass frog stud and finial. Accompanied by a 1916 dated Imperial German M84/98 bayonet in its steel scabbard and a British 1907 bayonet by Sanderson without scabbard. (3 items)
