The two finials are later and there is no central finial. There are cracks to one of the verre eglomise panels and an old repair to the arch of the hood door.

Layers of flaking and lost paint. Knocks, dents, damage and holes to roof. One piece of piping loose, others with losses and damage. Mesh dented and misshapen in places. Legs bent and one castor missing. Doors both functional, although the smaller is impeded by the roof, which needs a bit of manipulation in order for it to open fully. Generally in a relatively poor state of repair, but with a great look.
A banded ivory and ebony snuff mull, probably 18th Century, inverted baluster form with sixteen alternating staithes of ebony and ivory, the slightly domed cover with silvered butterfly hinge and oval cartouche, engraved initials 'LIF 1746', 6.5 x 5.5cms wide; together with two turned ivory snuff spoons, the larger with thistle finial, 8.2cms long.
