A large Edwardian parcel gilt silver Freedom Casket by Horace Woodward & Co Ltd, London 1901, of rectangular form the sides incurved, the front and back elevations engraved with panels depicting Public Buildings in Dundee including The McManus Gallery, The Royal Arch, The Dundee Town House (Hall) and the Harbour Entrance, presented by The City of Dundee to Peel, the base raised on four winged paw feet, the hinged cover chased with foliate scrolling below a cast finial depicting the arms of the Burgh of Dundee (pre 1932), inscribed 'Presented by The City of Dundee to The Right Honourable The Viscount Peel P.C Etc with its Freedom, 8th October 1901', 33.5cm wide, gross weight approximately 63.5oz (cased) The silk lined base has detached but the silver in its entirety is in very good condition
An 18th century English tea pot and cover, possibly Lowestoft, painted with two rows of alternating sinuous panels of blue and coloured flowers (2) (R) The spout tip has restoration work and the cover finial has been restored back. The cover finial conforms to those made at Lowestoft whereas the strainer holes from the inside of the pot to the spout do not
A Salopian tea pot and cover, coffee cup and saucer together with a blue and white coffee cup, the fluted shapes of the first painted and gilt with blue flowers and the tapering cylindrcal sides of the last printed with flower sprigs, S marks (5) (D) The cover finial of the tea pot has been glued back, the rim has three nicks and the body has a crack running around just above the foot. The blue and white coffee cup had a crack curving around towards the foot opposite the handle
