Probably Kutch second half of the 19th century, broad straight SE wootz blade 15.5cms, 2 piece bone grips, engraved copper grip strap with traces of gilding, in silver mounted fabric covered sheath, locket embossed and chased with flowering foliage, chape with interrupted fluting and up-turned finial. A 19TH / 20TH CENTURY CHINESE BAMBOO BRUSH POT / LIDDED BOX, later added French metalwork to convert to a box, the mountings form an angel finial sat within a crown and with carved ruyi head border, the brushpot depicting figures amongst trees and temple buildings with roundel's of phoenix & deer. 30cm high x 13cm wide.
A GOOD CHINESE BRONZE CENSER WITH HARDWOOD & JADE FINIAL, the censer with moulded lotus pattern to the rims, the base bearing a four character mark, the hardwood carved lid with scrolling foliage and the jade finial of a triple mushroom, with its carved hardwood stand, overall 18.5cm high x 13cm wide.
