The coffee-pot fully marked near handle and part marked inside cover with marks for 1904. The cream-jug and sugar-bowl each marked near handle with marks for 1908., The marks are generally clear. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age ane use. The wood handle has lost some of its finish.

Each piece marked underneath, the teapot further marked inside cover and on fixing bolt. There is some wear to the marks, particularly on the sugar-bowl. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points.
An Edward VII Silver Caster, by A. E. Jones, Birmingham, 1908, Retailed by Terry and Co., Manchester, tapering and with flower chased bulbous top, the pierced pull-off cover with ball finial, with an overall hammered finish, 15.5cm, high 5oz. Fully marked near rim and part marked on cover bezel. Stamped underneath 'Terry & Co Manchester'. The marks are generally clear. There are some overall surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points. There has been a repair to the base where the foot attaches. The repair has caused the lower body to be bruised around the diameter and for the caster to rock slightly when placed on a flat surface.

Each piece fully marked near handle. The teapot further part marked inside cover. The marks are generally clear. Each piece further stamped 'Manoah Rhodes & Sons Limited Bradford'. In generally good condition with some surface scratching and wear. The case is scuffed and with red rot in places and loss to the leather.
An Italian Teapot, Maker's Mark '1763MI', Late 20th Century, modelled as a seated camel, the head forming the spout, the handle modelled as a male figure tying a pack to the camels' hump, the hinged cover with loop finial, 27cm wide, 35oz The present teapot is a faithful reproduction of a glazed and gilded earthenware teapot, made by Moore Bros., an example of which is in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, having been transferred from the Museum of Practical Geology (2815&A-1901). The charming shape of the teapot, often referred to as 'Karawan', ensured that it was a popular model, having been made not only in ceramic but also in silver, like the present example, and in silver plate, see for example one retailed by Mariage Freres, sold Sotheby's, New York, 30 March 2004, lot 12.. Marked underneath with maker's mark and further stamped '925'. In generally good condition with only some very minor surface scratches. The ring thumbpiece differs slightly from on the original teapot which is formed as a twisted rope.

A Three-Piece Indian Silver Tea-Service, by Oomersi Mawji, Bujh, Kutch, Late 19th Century, each piece globular and on four scroll feet, the sides ornately repoussé and chased with foliage scrolls and flowers on a matted ground, with angular scroll handle and cast squirrel finial, comprising: a teapot; a hot milk-jug, each with ebonised wood insulated handles, and a sugar-bowl and cover, the teapot 17.5cm wide over handle, gross weight 36oz 18dwt (3) . Each piece is marked underneath with maker's mark 'OM' only. The mark is generally clear on the hot milk-jug and sugar-bowl though is somewhat worn on the teapot. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a minor softening to the high points. There is some loss to the ebonised material on the handles. These may be later replacements. The cover of the sugar-bowl is bruised and somewhat ill-fitting.
A Russian Silver Sugar-Bowl and Cover, by Carl Seipel, St. Petersburg, 1859, baluster and on four fruiting grapevine cast branch feet, with lobed sides and two twisted branch cast handles, the hinged cover with foliage and flower finial, 17.5cm wide over handles, 15oz 13dwt . Marked under base and on cover bezel. The marks are generally clear though the St Petersburg town mark is somewhat badly struck. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is most noticeable to the finial.
A Spanish Silver Inkwell, Maker's Mark 'Vega', Possibly for Diego de La Vega, Cordoba, First Quarter 19th Century, globular and on spreading foot, the hinged cover with finial cast as a duck, on ebonised wood base and with conforming glass ink bottle, 13.5cm high. Marked with lion rampant town mark on cover. The base with lion rampant mark, maker's mark VEGA over further letters or numbers and a further indistinct mark. There is some wear to the marks. The foot is filled with lead, possibly as a repair to the junction between the lower body and the foot. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is some loss to the finish on th base which is possibly later.

The ebonised wood handle is slightly ill fitting.

An English Edwardian miniature longcase clock in high quality mahogany case with swan neck pediments to the hood and central urn finial. There is an area of carved decoration above the arched dial and freestanding fluted columns flank the 19cm brass arched dial which has Turks head spandrels and a strike/silent dial in the arch. The long trunk door has a wavy top and is flanked by fluted quarter columns. The base has canted corners and an applied front panel with indented corners and has bracket feet. The substantial weight driven movement has anchor escapement and is rack striking on a gong and the weights are brass bound. The clock stands 155cm tall.
A late 19c Royal Polytechnic Barometer by Davis & Co in oak case with broken arch pediment with central finial. The 24cm diam dial is set in a 30cm square panel with carved corner spandrels and the lower case is flanked by free standing reeded columns. The pointers each side of the tube operated the arms indicating the weather conditions to be expected and the lower case contains both Fahrenheit and Celsius thermometers and Admiral Fitzroys remark regarding rising and falling conditions. The ivory adjusting buttons for the pointers are missing and the main tube appears to be empty. 122cm tall overall.

A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER MOUNTED CLARET JUG by Henry Wilkinson & Co. Limited, London 1898, the hinged cover with rampant lion and shield finial above a face mask spout, fruit and vine decoration, the scrolling handle going down to a narrow band enclosing a plain glass body with star cut base, 29cm high Condition Report: The lid is sprung to one side, when viewed towards the spout the right side fits snugly while the left side is slightly raised. I think the hinge has repaired and replaced slightly off centre.

AMENDED DESCRIPTION 18th century Scottish mahogany eight-day longcase clock, the 30cm circular brass dial with twin train movement, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, by William Lunan of Aberdeen, 209cm high, with wood rod and heavy bob pendulum, two weights and winding key, original shaped plinth under replaced wrap around on base, Scratches to glass and dial. Some wear to brass and rubbing to numerals, possibly re-painted numerals. Break to central finial but still present. One other finial with repaired break and other slightly loose.Warping and wear to trunk and trunk door. Cracks to plinth base. Minor wear to rest of case.Cannot guarantee the working order.
19th century overmantel mirror, ornate finial with mask to centre flanked by scrolling foliage, floral swags and bunches of grapes surmounted by arrow, later gilt painted and with touch ups, later glass plate, 174 x 163cm Sizes are correct. It is the overall size not the plate size.Possibly some losses but the heavy gold re-painting has gone over wherever they are.Gesso can be seen on the back of the surmount.
