A Victorian Silver Four Piece Tea and Coffee Service, Messrs Barnard, London 1847, of hexagonal baluster form in the Gothic Revival taste, with foliate C scroll engraved decoration, the covers with pointed finials, engraved with an armorial to one side and a crest of a garb to the other, the coffee pot 28cm high, 78oz 2dwt (4) All with clear marks to underside. Covers and handles part marked. Ivory insulators to coffee and tea pots. The foot on each piece has been knocked and requires straightening to sit flat. Finial to teapot leaning. Finial to coffee pot lacking wing nut and seemingly soldered in place. Decoration mostly clear with some light wear in places.
A Victorian Silver Three Piece Tea Service, Edward & John Barnard, London 1855, circular on pedestal foot, the teapot with melon finial, engraved with a band of foliate strapwork decoration, one side engraved with a monogram, the teapot 27cm long, 45oz 18dwt (3) Marks clear to underside, cover finial and handle part marked. Ivory insulators to teapot. Handle is slightly loose and a small split next to the insulator on the bottom junction. Occasional minor light bruise. Engraving mostly very crisp. A very small hole to embellishment just above opening of spout. Light circular scratch on cover caused by the finial rotating.
A William IV Silver Four Piece Tea and Coffee Service, Hayne & Cater, London 1837, squat circular melon fluted form with acanthus embellishments, the hinged covers with a bird finial, the coffee pot 25cm high, 78oz 12dwt (4) Marks all generally clear. Covers, finials, wing nuts and handles to pots are part marked. Pots with ivory insulators. Gilding to interior of cream and sugar is pale. Feet to all slightly mis-aligned and would need straightening slightly to prevent wobbling on a flat surface. A few knocks to the body of each piece, mostly at the widest point.

A Silver Three Piece Tea Service, Garrard & Co, Birmingham 1967, fluted circular form, with an engraved foliate shell border to the shoulder, the teapot with ivory handle and finial, the teapot 27cm long, 55oz 4dwt (3) With CITES A10 (non-transferable) licence no.573092/01All with clear crisp marks to underside, covers part marked. Good heavy gauge. Occasional surface scratching but generally good condition.
An Ormolu Striking Mantel Clock, retailed by Howell & James, Paris, circa 1890, surmounted by an urn finial and decorated with swag flowers, rams heads and cherubs playing musical instruments, light green porcelain panels painted with flowers, 3-1/2-inch dial with gold coloured Roman numerals, twin barrel movement striking on a bell, movement backplate stamped Japy Freres and with the retailers signature, numbered 248, raised upon a gilt wooden base, 44cm high, see illustration 17.10.18, Ormolu surfaces are faded and slightly discoloured, central porcelain panel beneath the dial with one minor hairline crack, dial with minor chips around both winding holes, movement in going order and striking, with original pendulum with bob numbered 248, wooden base with chips and with scratches and the gilt surfaces are rubbed.

A George III silver teapot and stand, Henry Green, London 1787, the teapot of oval form applied with reeded banding to the body, spout and handle, the hinged cover with wooden finial, wooden handle with carved thumb piece, 14cm high, 16.7ozt, with a matching oval stand on four ball feet, 16cm wide, 4ozt (2) with a February 1958 edition Country Life magazine referencing the purchase of this teapot (pg.342) and receipt of purchase CONDITION REPORT: Stand - marks clear and legible, some surface scratching and wear. spacer gone to finial and loose inside the tea pot (in two parts) marks to base clear and legible. Possible solder repair to the top rim by the handle as appearing a little 'bubbly'. Some surface scratching and wear, otherwise appears to be ok.

Walnut stock, with chequered grips, pineapple finial to trigger plate, and inset silver escutcheon (rubbed) with faint monogram present. The hammers engraved with foliates, and similar to trigger plate. Ramrod present. No makers marks. Mechanism in working order. Converted from flintlock in antiquity. Measures approx; 188cm long.
An antique 19th century long barrelled flintlock pistol. Iron furniture, with lock plate and hammer finely engraved, and a pineapple finial to trigger plate. Fitted steel ramrod present, and mechanism in full working order. Chequered grips. No makers marks present, with a previous owner's name stamped (in antiquity) to the stock. Measures approx; 39cm long.

An 18 bore flintlock livery pistol by Griffin & Tow, circa 1772-82 with tapering barrel inscribed 'London' within a linear frame extending to a loop over the breech, struck with the barrelsmith's mark and proof marks, with figured walnut butt, trigger-guard with finial of shaped outline, silver mounts finely cast and chased in low relief, comprising an elaborate trophy-of-arms side-plate, vacant escutcheon, and pommel, 17.8cm (7 in) barrel Joseph Griffin and Benjamin Tow were in partnership 1772-82.
A Regency brass and mahogany double fusee bracket clock by F. Lawley of Bath, the eight day double fusee movement striking the hour on a bell, the signed and painted circular 8in. dial with Roman numerals, the rectangular case with shallow gadrooned top with brass finial, over a brass inlaid front and sides with foliate rosette ring handles and pierced brass scale fretwork grilles, raised on decorative gilt brass ball feet, 19½in. (49.5cm.) high.* Condition: Very original condition - case is quite dirty but has a lovely colour. All brass inlays are complete. They are securely fixed overall - just two of the string inlays are lifting a little at the ends. Two chips to edge of gadrooned top to front and small chip to the back corners. Locks to dial glass and rear door working - key is rusty but original. Movement definitely original to case. A few old (inactive ) worm holes to top of back. Shrinkage crack down centre of right lower side of case, below the grille. Side moulding missing from the top right of case. Winds and runs but will almost certainly require cleaning and some work as it has not been serviced for decades. Winding key 20th century.
Two Doulton Lambeth stoneware flasks, one with silver mounted cork stopper, the larger 8½in. (21.5cm.) high; together with four other pieces of Doulton Lambeth including a jardiniere decorated by L. Waters, a twin handle vase decorated by Nellie Garbett etc. (8)* Condition: - Silver stoppered flask: Impressed '2074', script initials 'PB'. London hallmark 1903. Maker's mark rubbed. Engraved monogram to top of stopper (worn). Flask in VG cdn.- Square flask: Impressed 1785 and with retailer 'G.W. Scott & Sons' + registration diamond. Script decorator's mark IB. VG cdn. Lacks cork stopper.- Pair ewers: Silicone mark, impressed W1885, unidentified monogram script mark and painted SS mark. VG cdn.- Twin handle vase: Impressed 831, script decorator's mark EG. Glaze chip to centre of one raised rosette to body. No other faults.- Jardiniere: Impressed 2953. Script mark LW. Has been broken and repaired.- Biscuit box: Hallmarked London 1920. Marks to finial rubbed but match. Impressed 5603 and script mark LP. Cover restored. A few small dings to silver.- Tankard: Script mark RBR 10. Small ground chip to rim.
A Meissen twin handled soup tureen and cover, late 19th century, blue crossed sword mark, of bun form with moulded Osier borders, painted in colours with spring flowers, the twin green branch handles with floral bocage to the terminals, the domed cover with cut lemon and peel finial, 8½in. (21.5cm.) high; together with a pair of Meissen porcelain soup bowls, 19th century, decorated with Deutsche Blumen, gilt line rims, grey-blue crossed sword marks, 8¾in. (22.2cm.) diameter; and a pair of Meissen side plates, early 20th century, Marcolini style marks, similarly decorated, 7¾in. (19.8cm.) diameter. (5)* Condition: - Tureen: Tiny factory chip to top of finial (beneath the glaze). Minor losses from petals on floral bocage. Very good overall.- Bowls: Some gilt wear to rim, a little minor wear to decoration. No chips or cracks.- Plates: VG with just very minor gilt wear.
An 18th or 19th century Middle Eastern Persian copper and brass Dallah coffee pot, with flared cylindrical body, tapered spout, doomed cover with spire finial and toothed thumb piece, 12in. (30.5cm.) high, together with a Tibetan copper and mixed metal prayer wheel and a small copper and white metal urn shape container. (3)
A Japanese carved ivory pot and cover, Meiji period (1868-1912), the circular box heavily carved throughout with dragons amidst stylised clouds, the cover with ball finial, signed with single red character mark to base, interior and cover, 3 1/8in. (8cm.) high.* Condition: Good condition, with no damage to ivory. Cover does not seat properly on one side, although it does appear to be original.
An Indian carved ivory figure of an elephant howdah, late 19th century, the caparisoned elephant with two nobles and rider, finely carved with foliate decoration, 4 3/8in. (10.75cm.) high.* Condition: Originally on a base - locating holes to three feet. Roof lacks one finial and the other damaged. Several old hairline cracks to sides of elephant and another to front of elephant's head. No other damage or faults.
A Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester porcelain part tea service, 1803-1817, with impressed crowned B.F.B. mark, richly painted and gilded in Imari colours, comprising a teapot and stand (finial replaced), a twin handled sucrier, two cream jugs, a slop bowl, two cake plates with F.B.B. mark, nine cups, four coffee cans and eight saucers, some pieces a/f. (29)* Condition: - Teapot: Finial has been replaced with a creamware replacement. Large crack around most of circumference of body.- Stand: Very good.- Sucrier: Very good. Some kiln dust to interior glaze.- Cream jugs: Very good. Some kiln dust to interior glaze on one.- Cups: FBB marks. One extensively cracked with stapled repair. Others very good.- Cans: FBB marks. One good. The other three with extensive cracks and stapled repair to one.- Saucers: FBB marks. All good - a few with minor wear to decoration to well edge.
A scarce dry bodied stoneware teapot by Samuel Hollins, c.1800, the tapered cylindrical body in buff stoneware, with four lobed rim and c-scroll handle, oxidised silver silvered spout, finial and decoration, the body sprigged with cherubs, classical maidens and flowers, above basal fluting, impressed 'S.HOLLINS' to base, 4¾in. (12cm.) high, chip to cover, finial restored.* Condition: Finial has been off - old repair with brass nut and lead. Chip to rim of cover. A few tiny frits to tip of spout. No other damage/repairs.
