Interesting Tibetan silver teapot of small proportions, with chased and engraved foliate decoration, the spout in the form of a mythical beast swallowing a fish and the handle similar, but with its tongue out, separate domed and fluted cover with foliate finial and secured to the main body by a chain, Bhutan, late 19th century. All at approximately 8ozs, 12cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition very good. Surface decoration clear. Some minor distortion to ears, whiskers, etc. Base of handle where it joins body appears to have been repaired but this may have taken place during manufacture.
