A GOOD PAIR OF CHIPPENDALE STYLE MAHOGANY CHINA CABINETSAmerican, 20th CenturyThe broken pediments with dentil molding and open fretwork flank a flaming urn finial, supported by a dentil cornice and gothic arched pendant molding above a pair of locking glass doors inset with individual glass panes set into mahogany gothic mullions supported by a metal framework from behind. The upper cabinet is fitted with adjustable shelves and mahogany veneered back. The lower cabinet houses four locking doors with swan neck bale handles and beaded edge. The drawers are supported by a pair of locking doors with carved shell brackets and molded trim, all raised on plinth bases.Condition: Superb overall. Includes keys. A LOUIS XVI STYLE GILTWOOD SALON TABLE WITH VIOLETTE MARBLE TOP19th CenturyThe white and gray veined violette marble top is shaped with en chapeau ends and inset into a carved giltwood frame of acanthus in relief and supported by a conforming recessed apron of hand-carved rosettes punctuated by rectangular reserves of acanthus and laurel leaf scrolls; raised on expressed tapering fluted legs stabilized by an incurved stretcher and carved urn finial. One panel includes an enameled clock face with Arabic numerals and hand painted floral swags. The clock is supported by a larger porcelain deep blue glazed base with raised gilt decoration creating demilune frames of hand painted pairs of maidens. Raised on gilt bronze bun feet. Stamped on mechanism: “Made in France” “Médaille D` Argent, Vincenti et Cie” and stamped “4816 4 1 1855”.Condition: Includes winding key. A PAIR OF FRENCH ROCOCO STYLE GILDED BRONZE AND CRYSTAL THREE-LIGHT CANDELABRAPossibly France, 1850-1875Each delicate gilded bronze candelabrum having a shaped rectangular base with foliate decoration and a central ribboned boss and finial, all supporting a second conforming base with two bosses and three large acanthus leaves rising to a circular platform with a rose; from there rises a central post ending in a pierced bobeche and rosette decorated candlecup; two large foliate S-scrolls also attached to the post support similar bobeches and candlecups; from each bobeche hangs one small bead and one elongated prism.Condition: The central posts in both with stabilizing repairs; one with a repaired and re-gilded break in the proper left S-scroll.
