Two hundred and thirteen coloured and black and white photographs and at the rear of the album an attached envelope inscribed 'AH Fong Photographer P, 369 Nanking Road, Shanghai and Wei-hai-wei' and also handwritten 'Lieut K. M. Fardell', with images including Weihaiwei, Nagasaki, Canton, hong Kong, Singapore, Penang, Ceylon, Aden, Port Said and Malta. Album size 29 x 38cm.Weihaiwei was a port in North East China and was leased to Britain as a Naval base between 1898 and 1930.Kenneth Mathieson Fardell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30th November,1913 and was awarded the Goodenough Medal for 1913-1914, being the Sub-Lieutenant who achieved the highest gunnery examination for the year and who also achieved a first-class certificate in seamanship. Fardell was commended for his handling of enciphered messages at Tsingtao in 1914.

MATCHBOX; three diecast vehicles comprising K-4 International Tractor, in red, a Lesney No.37 Coca-Cola Lorry, and a Lesney No.55 D.U.K.W. Amphibian, in green, all boxed (3).Condition Report: - The vendor previously sold Matchbox vehicles in the 1970s and 1980s and these have recently been discovered in the loft. The tractor looks unplayed with, but the tyres are loose on the rims. The box appears to have a possible price in pencil to the front, but is intact. The Coca-Cola Lorry again looks unplayed with, the box is a little worn. The Amphibian vehicle looks unplayed with, there is some rust to the spindles. The box is worn and has got an old Sellotape repair to the side.
