1973 BMW 3.0 CSi Transmission: manual Mileage: 44632 In 1968, BMW introduced a new two-door coupé that was designed and built by Karman. This new model was named internally as the E9 and the first version produced was named the 2800 CS, it featured an increased wheelbase to accommodate a new straight-six engine. The front of the car was restyled to resemble the E3 saloon model otherwise known as the 'shark nose'. Production of the E9 would run until 1975. During this time the 2800 CS was replaced by the 3.0 CS and 3.0 CSi in 1971. Performance of the 3.0 CSi compared well with its contemporaries, such as the E-Type Jaguar and the Ford Capri 3.0 but at over £5,500 it was a third more expensive than the Jaguar. Partly due to this formidable price, only 207 of this model were registered in the UK between November 1973 and November 1975. It was arguably the most advanced car for its time with standard Bosch K Tronic injection supplying fuel to the six-cylinder overhead cam engine, power steering, disc brakes all round and electronic windows front and rear. This stunning example of BMW’s Pillarless Coupé was UK registered on 7th May 1975 and is thought to be one of the first in the UK market. The vendor purchased this car in 2014 and almost immediately set about a considerable restoration project. The works started with an engine rebuild at Cotswold Cars. The car was then handed to restoration specialist, Justin Simmons at Pinkneys Green, Maidenhead for a comprehensive four-year restoration, costing over £100,000. The history file for KKJ 952N contains all invoices for the impressive amount of work undertaken. All the parts and panels used were either purchased from E9 specialists, Jaymic Ltd in the UK or Wallothnesch in Germany for original BMW classic parts. The file also contains a full photographic history of the works completed, from the bare metal respray to the fine example we see today. This fantastic example benefits from the addition of a stainless steel exhaust, a City Pack original spoiler, a Momo black leather steering wheel, new tyres throughout and has recently been retrimmed. Presented to auction with a V5C registration document and, although exempt, a new MoT test certificate. This wonderful example is reserved at a fraction of the current investment level of the vendor.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

1995 Chevrolet Suburban LT2500 Transmission: automatic Mileage: 32500The Chevrolet Suburban is a full-size SUV from Chevrolet and the name started in 1934 for the 1935 U.S. model year, making it the longest continuously used automobile nameplate in production. It has traditionally been one of General Motors' most profitable vehicles. The 1935 first generation Carryall Suburban was one of the first production all-metal bodied station wagons. It now comes with three engine options: a 5.3 litre V8, 6.2 litre V8 or a 3.0 litre Inline-6 turbo diesel. The GMT400-based Suburbans were introduced in December 1991 for the 1992 model year. The similar pickup truck models had switched to the newer platforms in the 1988 model year. Both 2WD and 4WD models, designated ‘C’ and ‘K’, were offered, as well as half ton and three quarter ton (‘1500’ and ‘2500’) models. Trim options included a base-level version, the LS, and the LT. Interior seating arrangements allowed for either bucket or bench seating in the first row and optional third row bench. The vehicle could be configured from two to nine passenger seating. Transmissions included the 4L60 four-speed automatic in the 1500 series, and the heavier duty 4L80 four-speed automatic in the 2500.This superb American SUV vehicle was delivered new to its first owner the late Emir of Qatar, His High Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Al-Thani. It is presented in two tone black/gold with beige leather interior. The interior is in superb condition as is the exterior paintwork and has the added benefit of the third row set of seats allowing for nine people to be transported in extreme comfort with plenty of leg room. It is powered by the mighty 5.7 litre V8 mated to an automatic transmission and comes with air conditioning. This vehicle is thought to have been used by the staff of the late Emir, probably his security detail and has only covered a mere 32,500 km from new. An extremely practical family SUV with substantial interior space for people and luggage, together with its very interesting history, this must be one of the finest available of this marque.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.Interested parties should note that this vehicle does not have V5 registration document yet. Taxes have been paid and the application is with the DVLA.

1983 Porsche 911 SC Cabriolet (3.0 Litre) Transmission: manual Mileage: 14218Routinely rated as one of the greatest sports cars of all time, Porsche’s 911 has been the benchmark for more than five decades and interest in early examples has never been stronger. Although the current 991 series is a far cry from that first 911 of 1964, the basic elements - flat-six ‘boxer’ motor mounted behind the rear wheels, sharp steering and excellent handling in a relatively practical (and utterly reliable) package - have never changed. Constant development kept the 911 ahead of its rivals and by the early 1980s, when the example offered here was built, the air-cooled flat six had grown from the original two litres capacity to three litres, the wheelbase increased for better weight distribution and handling and Bosch fuel injection made the engine both more reliable and tractable. All 911s built between 1978 and 1983 were badged as SCs (with S standing for Super and C for Carrera), featuring a Thyssen zinc-coated galvanised bodyshell, updated bodywork with colour-coded headlamp bezels and anodised black door handles and window frames and a host of mechanical improvements. In 1983 Porsche finally unveiled an open-topped version of the 911, known as the Cabriolet, the first fully open sports car to emerge from Stuttgart since the days of the 356. The Cabrio’s floorpan was properly reinforced chassis to ensure the bodyshell remained rigid, while the hood itself was a manual design that cleverly incorporated various steel sheets for additional strength and safety. This was also the final year of the 911 SC model, with previous upgrades including the five-speed Type 915 gearbox, improved brakes and more power from the venerable flat six, thanks to the raised compression ratio of 9.8:1 along with revised Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection settings. The interior came in for some improvements as well, with electric windows and air conditioning now standard equipment. The 911 SC remains the best value 911 of all, offering classic 911 style with bags of performance, robust mechanicals, and outstanding build quality. This stunning right hand drive 1983 Porsche 911 SC Cabriolet was supplied new to the Sultan of Brunei in Malaysia and it is believed to have only covered 14,250 kilometres or less than 9,000 miles from new. The Sultan gave this Porsche to one of his staff and while in Malaysia the colour was changed to red. Imported to the UK in 2019, the new owner set about returning the car to its original specification, this included removing all the panels and repainting the car back to its original colour of white, refreshing the black leather interior, refurbishing the wheels, and fitting new tyres. For the Mechanics it was sent to Caversham Porsche where it was serviced, new oil cooler pipes fitted, new exhaust system and the air conditioning serviced. The service book is stamped with its first service in Malaysia and the recent service here in the UK. This Porsche is supplied with a V5 registration document, an MoT test certificate, the original service book and the invoices for the work carried out in the UK. This well sorted cabriolet is ready to be used and enjoyed, it would be very rare to find one with lower mileage and in such excellent condition. Interested parties should note that a new mph speedo has been fitted to this car and mileage set to match the kilometre clock which was removed and is available to view.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

2000 Lotus 340R Transmission: manual Mileage: 10860Given the success of its long-running Seven, still manufactured by Caterham and much copied by others, perhaps the most surprising thing is not that Lotus had another stab at building a stripped-down, back-to-basics sportscar, but that it took them so long. First shown as a concept car at the 1998 British International Motor Show, the 340R uses the Elise's bonded aluminium mid-engined chassis, basic running gear and 1.8-litre Rover K-Series engine in its 177bhp form. Originally the target bhp/ton power-to-weight ratio, the '340' ended up being the maximum production figure for this exclusive and exciting car. Even more Spartan than the Elise, the 340R lacks roof, doors, windows and heater, all omitted in the cause of weight reduction, while the narrowed body makes do with carbon-fibre cycle wings instead of the real thing. The end result is a fantastic car looking like no other in current production and one that, according to EVO magazine, enables its driver to 'bask in the quizzical wonderment that every other road user expresses when you pull up alongside.' Despite looking like a track-day special, a role, incidentally, at which it excels, the 340R possesses full European type approval and delivers a level of ride comfort totally unexpected in such a performance-focussed car. This fabulous example presented in grey with blue interior is car number 66 of 340 built. It is in original factory specification fitted with the more powerful 190bhp factory upgraded 1800 engine and comes with original Tecnomagnesio four stud wheels, five point harness fitted to both seats and has a Meta alarm system with intrusion sensor. A few dealer extras were fitted such as a quick release Alcantara steering wheel (original included) short shift gear change (original parts included) fire extinguisher, Decat pipe (original catalyst fitted currently) and is shod with Yokohama tyres. There is a full service history with the car with all but one Lotus dealership stamps in the book (16 altogether). The last C graded service was carried out in 2018 at 10,550 miles and it was then that the cambelts were changed and an A service was carried out by the owner in 2020 at 10,776 miles. It comes with an original toolkit and all factory books, two sets of keys and an outdoor cover. With performance figures matching many Supercars 0-60mph in 4.3 seconds and 0-100mph in 10.1 seconds, this is an adrenalin rush on wheels weighing as little as 700kg! Superbly impractical but supremely outrageous! Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.
