Hennell & Sons red leather fitted box containing screwdriver and detachable second brooch fitting Condition report: There is a little nibble to the pear cut diamond - see image.A feather inclusion and internal graining is visible with 10x loupe to the pear cut diamond.Small 'carbon' inclusion visible to old cut diamond in middle swag, second from the left. Cut down settings appear to be a little worn in some areas commensurate of age and use. Lead repair visible to bale of pear cut diamond. Hinge pin appears to be a little loose.

NASA Apollo-Soyuz Test Project cloth beta crew patch issued to Deke Slayton in 1975. With a certificate of authenticity.Donald K. "Deke" Slayton was selected as one of the original Mercury Seven Astronauts in 1959. He was slated to fly the second orbital mission but was grounded with an irregular heartbeat. He stayed with NASA and became Chief of the Astronaut Office and later Director of Flight Crew Operations. He was restored to flight status in 1972 and finally made it into space on July 15, 1975 as part of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project. His next assignment was as Manager of the Space Shuttle Approach and Landing Tests at Edwards AFB and from there he was named Manager of Orbital Flight Test. He retired from NASA in 1982 and died on June 13, 1993 after a battle with cancer.Height: 5 1/2 in x width: 5 3/4 in.Condition: The item is in good condition with no visible tears, creases, or losses. The item is slightly toned; however, the color is still bold and bright. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration. There is very light fraying along the edges, as expected, which does not affect the center patch.

A RARE CRIMEAN WAR .704 PATTERN 1851 PERCUSSION RIFLE MUSKET MARKED TO THE 1ST BATTALION COLDSTREAM GUARDS, CIRCA 1853, no visible serial number, with 39in. barrel rifled with four grooves, stamped with Ordnance proofs at breech (faint), block and blade front-sight and ladder rear-sight, the Lovell's pattern bar-action borderline engraved lock with the Crown V.R. cypher on the tail and '1853 TOWER' to the centre, together with the small crown broad arrow government ownership mark, regulation brass-mounted full walnut stock, the right side of the butt stamped 'B.O.' for Board of Ordnance, the buttcap engraved '1. B. C. G. / K / 42' indicating issue to the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards, K company, gun number 42, Lovell's spring bayonet catch protruding through nosecap, complete with sling swivels and correct rod, barrel and stock refinished with loss of sharpness.
