In its turn, the museum established a gallery named in his honor in recognition for his endowment fund and numerous contributions to their collection. The selections here showcase his talent and breadth of collecting, ranging from ancient statues to 19th-century woodblock prints. WW2 German Luftwaffe Flight Section NCO’s Peaked Cap, good example of a standard Luftwaffe NCO’s peaked cap in Luftwaffe blue grey cloth with yellow piping to the crown and bordering the ribbed central band. Aluminium cap eagle and cockade. Patent NCO’s pattern chinstrap with two side buttons. Interior with the original oilcloth sweatband and satin lining with tailors diamond. Details to the tailors diamond worn. E K initial emblems fitted to the sweatband. Good example overall.

Signed to the bottom corner. 170 x 210cms. Konstantin Georgievich Molteninov was born in 1924, he studied at the Leningrad intermediate art school from 1941, Repin institute 1947-53.
