31st (Hyde) Cheshire Rifle Volunteers Victorian waist belt clasp circa 1860. A fine rare blackened example with matching numbers to both sides. Circlet inscribed ‘Hyde Rifles’; centre bearing Prince of Wales’s plumes. Universal pattern rococo ends. VGC Formed 15th August, 1850 becoming part of 4th Admin Battalion.
