Brooks' lower right, inscribed to artist's 'Art For Youth' exhibition label verso, in limed wood frame with stepped tinted mount , 16 x 26½in. (40.7 x 67.3cm.)* Condition: Very good with no faults. HMS Pembroke. A silver Watch Chain and Fob, engraved 1926 and China Fleet Billiards A Brown. In 1918 Arthur H Brown Stoker Petty Officer was serving on HMS Dolphin. This was the Home of the Submarine Service from 1904. With his original Service Documents showing postings to HMS Dolphin, HMS X1, etc. From 1909 until the late 1920's. His Merchant Seamans Continuous Certificate of Discharge, with photograph inset.

An Imperial Service Medal John Thomas Belcher, Sorter London Postal Services. 4. A metal Naval ID tag, named to J 56272 H W Rawsley. Serving on HMS Royal Arthur in 1916-17.
A VICTORIAN 74th FOOT OFFICERS DIRK WITH ETCHED BLADE. A gilt mounted officers dirk of some quality, C1860 of the 74th Foot . The ornate mounts have the badge at the throat mount of the scabbard, also the Elephant and '74' inset in thistles. The mounts are all gilt again with thistle decoration, the hilt has Nemo Me Impune Lacessit on both sides. The blade of some 11.1/2" length, with a single three-quarter fuller and serrated spine. Lightly engraved with Assaye and Elephant, also multiple Battle Honours together with a Lion and persevere, etc. Etched in a scabbard mount are the initials J K W. See Illustration
A GERMAN 1898 PATTERN BAYONET. 2nd type with two piece wooden grips, complete with its scabbard. The blade marked W K Co Solingen at the throat pipeback and spearpoint some 20.1/2" in length. The crossguard stamped 524 R 145, with 5 under a crown on the spine, complete with its steel scabbard.
A silver Host Box, by F Osborne & Co. Ltd., London 1946, of circular form, the hinged lid cast, chased and engraved with pelican feeding its chicks bordered by inscription in relief "Pie Pelicane Jesu Domine", (The sixth quatrain of Adoro Te Devote, written by Thomas Aquinas, sometimes used as a separate hymn at Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament), with gadrooned rim, twin locking rings and gilt interior, the base engraved "In memoriam D E K", diameter 5.9cm. (119.2g).
