A Sapphire and Diamond Four Stone Ring, the oval cut sapphires spaced by two old cut diamonds, in yellow square settings, to a plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 0.25 carat approximately finger size S1/2The ring is in fair condition commensurate with age, there is abrasion to the sapphires. It is indistinctly marked but in our opinion would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 6.3 grams. CR made 30.10.23.
An 18 Carat Gold Diamond Five Stone Ring, the graduated old cut diamonds in yellow claw settings, to a plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 0.75 carat approximately, finger size M1/2The ring is in fair condition, there is an area of scuffing to the shank. It is hallmarked but the maker's mark is rubbed, Birmingham, 1889. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity VS2/SI1/SI2. Gross weight 4.5 grams.

J-K and the Diamonds Clarity is approx. VS1-VS2. The Princess Cut Diamonds are set in a channel setting. The ring is hallmarked '750' for 18ct Gold. The ring size is N. The total gross weight of the ring is approx. 3.12 grams. Condition: There is a little chip to one of the corners of one of the Princess Cut Diamonds at the end of the Diamond ring . The claws would benefit from being re-set over some of the Diamonds. But can be repaired. The ring is otherwise in good condition commensurate with the age of the ring. Just slight scratches to the ring.

Barrie, Edward Thomas, W. B. Yeats, Arthur Ransome, M.R. James and Samuel Beckett.

Rietstap, Armorial Général, Vol.II, pl.XXXV)Johann Klein worked at the Nymphenburg factory as a decorator between 1765-1771, subsequently working independently, often buying in Nymphenburg seconds to decorate, adding his initials to the underside.

A fine quality sword with an unusually long 90cm pointed single edged blade with double fuller, marked for W. K & Co. The folding guard finely gilt with matt gilt Prussian eagle to both sides of the guard. With a wire bound horn grip with the Kaiser's 'FWR' monogram. The pommel decorated with a further finely detailed Prussian eagle and a stand of arms and standards, the top with previous owner's initials 'EAW'. In black painted scabbard with single ring suspension. 108 cm overall. *CR A fie example in very nice condition, that it is longer than usual suggests it may have been made for a particularly tall officer.
