A well engineered 5" gauge model of the MLR K Class 2-6-0 locomotive and tender No. 1000. Probably built by C M Rostron, Beckenham, Kent during the 1950's having copper soldered boiler & fittings including water & pressure gauges, safety blower, hand operated brake & blow down valves. Tender details include hand feed pump, hand operated brake gear, water cocks and hand irons. Finished in LNER green livery and lining. Engine 9.5" x 37.5", tender 9.5" x 24" (some blemishes and minor paint loss). Complete with three 8' long pieces of track.

Arthur K. Maderson (b.1942), STEPPING OUT AT TALLOW FAIR, signed lower left; signed, inscribed and dated [1992] on reverse, oil on board, 60 by 44cm. 23.5 by 17.5in. Accompanied by a signed manuscript letter from the artist, explaining that the work was featured on RTE's television programme, 'The Pure Drop' in November (c.1992), and that it received "favourable comments" the following morning on Gay Byrne's radio show. €2,000-€2,500

A scarce pair of Queen Anne, ascribed North Country provincial tablespoons, Hanoverian pattern, with plain moulded rattails, initialled "K" over "EM" on the back of the terminals, by Thomas Robinson, Chester 1713, 8in (20.2cm) long. Marks: both fully marked on back of stems near the bowl, 3.5oz. (2)
An oak and mahogany cross banded cottage longcase clock, early 19th century, the broken scroll pediment with brass stamped flower head terminals, above a square glazed trunk door, flanked by fluted brass capped pilasters enclosing a 13" painted enamel dial with Roman numerals, date aperture and marked J N Peacock, K Y Stephen, florally painted to the centre and with faux reeded fan corners, 30 hour movement, striking on a bell above a short cross banded trunk door and moulded tablet, flanked by inset corner columns, over an ogive moulding and cross banded base board and plinth, 79" high
