Daneben num.: 26. Rahmen. Karl Rüter war Vertreter der Neuen Sachlichkeit Hannover, studierte in Hannover und war Schüler von Schlösser, Burger-Mühlfeld und Wiederhold. Er unternahm mehrere Reisen nach Italien, Spanien und Prag. Die Bildwirkung seiner Arbeiten erreicht der Künstler oftmals durch eine sehr detailliert gestaltete klassische Bildkomposition, in der die menschlichen Figuren, die meist bewegungslos und starr wirken, integriert werden und, wie in diesem Fall, dann manchmal eine puppenartige Wirkung erreichen. Dies verleiht Rüters Gemälden eine hohe Wiedererkennbarkeit und Modernität.

Entworfen und gefertigt von Bent Knudsen Kolding in den 1960er Jahren. Knudsen hat sowohl für Hans Hansen als auch für Georg Jensen gearbeitet und betrieb zusammen mit seiner Frau Anni eine Werkstatt in Kolding.

Henkelschale - Rocaille: Breslauer StadtschloßStaatliche Porzellan Manufaktur (KPM), Berlin 1910/1920. Porzellan, weiß, glasiert. Polychrom und Gold bemalt. Goldrand. Unter der Glasur blaue Zeptermarke. Auf der Glasur roter Reichsapfel. 1. Wahl. In blau bez.: 61/117 und 45. Eingepresstes Jahreszeichen K und U. H. 20,5 cm, D. 26,5 cm. Auf vier Volutenfüßen passig geschweifte Form. Wandung mit durchbrochen gearbeitetem Reliefzierrat. Vier sich überkreuzende bogenförmige Henkel mit reliefiertem Bandwerk. Für das Breslauer Stadtschloss wurde die Form Antikzierat von Chefmodelleur Friedrich Elias Meyer im Jahre 1767 entworfen. König Friedrich Wilhelm IV. benannte diese 90 Jahre später in Rocaille um. Die Fahne ist von einem antikisierenden Stabbündel umgeben, an das sich nach innen plastische Rocaillen und vier Felder mit Blumenornamenten anschließen. Von den vier Feldern gehen jeweils vier Rippen bis in den Spiegel des Tellers. Für das Breslauer Stadtschloss wurden die Felder auf der Fahne mit blauer Schuppenmalerei, die Spiegel mit "natürlichen Blumen" bemalt.
